We are not currently offering our Mexican Matchboxes or other "custom" Mexican/Loteria items as we are busy catching up on local orders for those items. We hope to re-open listings for those in mid-summer. i not only LOVE the books but the packaging! wrapped like a gift & with a cute note, i was having a bad day & this cheered me right up! shipping was fast even though i am in another country as well! i am an official fan now! you seriously rock, thank you SO MUCH! <3

Hello and thank you for checking out Funky Egg Art ! My goal is to have you find things here you "never knew existed" but now can not remember for the life of you how on earth you have survived without it this long! Everything you see here has been either handmade by myself or completely hand-altered or hand assembled to give old things new purpose! My goal is to make each and every item special and unique- I want the stuff you buy to be the pieces people stop and ask " where on earth did you get that??"

If you are curious about the name, it comes from our love of "food with faces" (-it's never not funny when you add human characteristics to food!)And because at Funky Egg we do a little of everything (clothes, jewelry, photography, home decor, etc.)so we needed a name that didn't "limit" us! You never know what you will find here and **we add new things all the time** so check back often and make sure to browse all the sections in the store-you will be glad you did! If you don't see what you are looking for, or would like more of a certain item (party/bridal favors, etc.) just convo us and we will work out a deal to suit your needs!

We obviously know enough about U.S. addresses to know if a street or zip code is missing, but we cant be held accountable if an apartment or house number is wrong or missing. FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: it is ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT that you DOUBLE CHECK your address as we are not very familiar with how various countries do their addresses and so, would not know if it "looks" wrong. I accept Paypal and money orders. Items are shipped as soon as possible once payment is received; but I do work a full-time job so please understand that may mean only 2 or 3 trips to the post office within a week. If you need an item RUSHED or OVER-NIGHTED,please contact me PRIOR to purchasing so that we can discuss your options and I can adjust your invoice. On a *very rare*, case by case basis, personal checks may be accepted, however, please note there is a considerable delay in the shipping of your item as I will wait for the check to arrive and clear on my end prior to shipping out your order. Convo me if a check is your only option to pay.

I will ship US postal the cheapest way possible unless otherwise requested. With the cost of postage continually rising, I may occasionally under-estimate the cost to ship; in the event the shipping is considerably different, I will contact you first to ask how you would like the transaction to be handled. Occasionally, it may look as though I over-charged on shipping, but PLEASE KNOW that when I set my prices, I also try to take into account the cost of delivery confirmation (purchased for EVERY order so that you have a tracking number to refer to) as well as bubble wrap, mailers, and all other precautions I take in wrapping your item to assure a safe-and-sound delivery. I will never attempt to "make money" off the shipping prices, and if you feel there has been a gross error in my calculations, PLEASE CONVO me!

*****INSURANCE-should you wish to have insurance purchased for your item, convo me PRIOR to purchasing so that I may adjust your invoice. Insurance can be purchased at your cost.****

The shipping price quoted is an estimation ONLY. If the shipping charge is considerably more, I will contact you and ask how you would like to proceed. Thanks for your patience on this matter. ****PLEASE READ: you are responsible for any additional fees/taxes/tarrifs/customs costs/etc. that occur on your end. I will provide you with the customs form #, but once it has shipped, it is out of my hands. Any tracking/investigating will need to be handled on your end. Please also be familiar with your country's policies as far as when you are able to make a claim about a lost package and how to proceed as it varies.****
ALSO KNOW that I will not intentionally under-estimate the value of the item/mark it as another category so that you may be able to avoid fees/pay less taxes, etc. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO.

***I get a tracking number/delievery comfirmation on every U.S. order, if you report an item as "not-delivered" I will provide you with the tracking number to investigate as well as being investigated on our end, if need be. Should the tracking number show it was, in fact delivered, we cannot be held responsible for it not actually reaching you. If you are unsure as to whether you will be home at time of delivery and suspect the package may not be safe unattended until you are able to get home, please make other arrangements for delivery. Refunds and Exchanges
Please note that due to the hand-made nature of my products, there will occasionally be slight "oddities" (color variations, small bubbles, paint ripples, etc.) these are part of the unique hand-made charm and should not be construed as a "defect".



If an item is truly defective/and or broken, contact me within 5 business days and a substitution will be sent out once the defective item has been received on my end. If a substitution is not available and you would not like to choose a similar item from our stock, a refund will be given.All refunds are on a case-by-case basis and the shipping is always the buyers responsibility. Additional policies and FAQs
I try my best to capture the items in my photos as accurately as possible, occasionally an item may look to be a slightly different color, or bigger/smaller than you realized. **Please read the specifications and dimensions in the descriptions carefully.** Unless you truly feel an item was grossly misrepresented, refunds are not given for that purpose. I will try whenever possible to offer up an alternate choice of a similar-priced item if you are truly un-happy with your purchase but it is not defective. Clothing may be returned ONLY if it is defective (zipper broke, broken snap, etc.) and you have contacted me within 7 business days of receiving the item. Any item of clothing that has obvious traces of wear (deodorant marks, smells of smoke, etc) will NOT BE eligible for a refund. PLEASE CONVO ME with any additional questions/comments/concerns you have not seen addressed here or would like further clarified. It is our UTMOST GOAL for you to have a happy shopping experience in our store so PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE to contact us for any reason!
