Growing and learning
I started out making jewelry for fun and friends about 4 years ago. Friends, perhaps out a desire to receive yet another pair of earrings for as a gift, suggested that I try selling what I made. So I came up with the name Funky Tulip, just for fun, started an esty page and started going to craft shows.
Two years ago, I took a lampworking class, and fell in love with glass. I had bought a kiln to annel my beads, and thought that it would be fun to try to fusing. I taught myself, and have pendants and dishes to show for it.
During the day, I'm a practicing lawyer. Glass is my creative outlet. My hope for my etsy page is that others will enjoy I've made.

i do it all!
I love glass! The feel of it, the colors, the mystery!
I'd already been making jewelry, when I found lampworking. Then I found fusing. So many great ways to play with glass. I use my own beads and fused pieces in my jewelry (I make most of my own findings, too), and make fused glass plates and other dishes. I hope you find something here that intrigues you.
Whatever I make is generally only make one of a kind, but if I've already sold something you were interested in, let me know, and I can make you something similar.
I do sell through other venues, and it is possible (though unlikely) that the item you're interested has sold and I haven't had time to remove it from Etsy. If so, I sincerely apologize, will do my best to make you something similar (but still one of a kind!)
