Announcement   Well hey there! Fuzz and fu primarily sells vintage housewares, kitchen supplies, fabrics and linens, but I'm developing a nasty jewelry habit too. I have a severe weakness for midcentury kitchen towels, but I adore all things well-designed, well-made, and well-loved. Follow me on Pinterest at fuzzandfu!

PLEASE NOTE -- All reserves will only be held for 72 hours from first request. The only exceptions to this will be related to time zones (Australia, Japan, etc.). Thanks for understanding!!

About

Fuzz and Fu. Serious, big time vintage.

Welcome to Fuzz and Fu! I specialize in vintage textiles from the 1940s-1970s, but have a soft spot for most anything from that period. I try to carry a variety of items - anything that speaks to me as being a bit special, sweet, or fabulous. It makes me ridiculously happy when one of my items finds a happy home.

My love of vintage textiles comes from my mom who worked as a fiber artist, and my specific love of vintage kitchen towels comes from my fascination with my grandmother's kitchen pantry where she kept her Vera Neumann towels! I think vintage is all about tracing back a memory and re-connecting with a missing or neglected part of ourselves. Well, that, and some things were just designed and made better back then!

So glad you are here! Thanks for stopping by.

  • Khufu (Fu)

    Raconteur

Khufu, aka 'Fuperman. Egyptian orphan forced to immigrate from Giza because his human loved him so. Loves napping on heating grates in the winter, sneaking into places he shouldn't, and getting attention on his terms only.

  • Sam (Fuzz)

    Cheerleader

Sam, aka The Sam-boni. Arkansas alley cat scooped up because his human loved him so. Loves butt- and belly-scratches, hunting things smaller than himself, and if you don't mind, a small taste of that sour cream you have there, thank you.

I love to collect beautiful things! I cringe when I have to pass by thrift stores and estate sales, and have a hard time passing up anything that was/is well-designed, well-loved, or well-made. Sadly, my husband doesn't entirely appreciate being surrounded by my lovely things, so this little Etsy shop is our compromise. Think of me as your vintage conduit!

DESCRIPTIONS
Vintage is a somewhat new interest of mine, and I fully admit that I'm constantly learning about objects from my areas of interest. I do my best to describe things, but please convo if you have any questions about an object or think my ID of something is off. Also, if upon receipt you disagree with my description, get in touch! Vintage is, of course, gently used, but I want you to be happy with any transaction.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
I prefer Paypal, BUT will take a money order or check as well. Thanks!
Shipping
I am happy to combine shipping for multiple items, and will always refund shipping overages if over $1.50. I use USPS for my transactions, usually in the SAFEST and CHEAPEST manner possible - but I'm happy to get insurance or quicker delivery if you desire it. My preferred method is First Class with tracking information provided.

The same goes for International shipping - the cheapest for a package under 4 pounds in weight is First Class International, but depending on where you are, this might not include delivery confirmation and definitely doesn't cover insurance. Don't be shy to ask about shipping - I'm very flexible - but please know that shipping internationally from the US is sometimes ridiculously expensive for larger items and true "tracking" (as in knowing where it is at all times, not just on this end, at a customs hub, and once it arrives) can only be achieved internationally through Global Express (expensive) or Registered Mail (slower). It's not a perfect system, but I do my best to be upfront and honest.

I will gladly ship internationally, but please please please note that the buyer is responsible if any customs fees occur.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will accept returns within 14 days of sale. Please get in touch if there's a problem as soon as possible.
Additional policies and FAQs
I'm happy to reserve an item, but only for 72 hours from first request (there's some wiggle room there for serious time zone changes!). Thanks for understanding!
