Beyond what I was expecting! I find myself playing with her while my daughter sleeps-ha!

The doll is one of the most beautiful I have seen! Such care and pride was used in making her. Our daughter is going to love her - can't wait to give it to her! The shop owner was great about communicating along the way as well. I would definitely recommend this shop for anyone looking for a doll!

The doll is beautifully made and exceeded expectations, dealing with Patti was a pleasure. I highly recommend Fuzz & Shine!

About

It all started when I taught myself to knit.

I’ve never been happy with just one craft. You name it and I have probably done more than just try it. I hopped from one to the next and then back to the first one. I admit it. When it comes to crafting I am promiscuous. I can’t be faithful. I’m thrilled with the new ones – those first kisses. Then I taught myself to knit and I was hopelessly, shamelessly addicted.

I do consider knitting the gateway drug. It has led me to try things I’d only heard about on the streets, things people only speak of quietly with others who have their disease – sock knitting, spinning, unraveling and recycling sweaters, dyeing your own. I soon found myself hustling raw sheep fleeces and buying equipment that looked like medieval torture devices.

If anyone had ever fallen down the rabbit hole it was me and I was in trouble. I knew I needed to do something drastic to support my habit. It wasn’t a choice that I came to easily. Selling yourself is only for the most desperate. I opened my Etsy shop to share my “stuff” and maybe make a few bucks, so I can buy more yarn, more fiber, raw fleeces, more, more, more… I’ve got a dream for a small sheep farm…someday.

I've lived in a small offshore town in New Jersey all my life. I feel blessed to live in the quiet of the woods and still be able to have my toes in the ocean in ten minutes. I am always surrounded and inspired by the beauty of God's creation.
