Being vegan doesn't always have it easy for men and women. That's how I felt and feel too. Only a few people around me live vegan and understand veganism.

I suffered from it for a long time. Hostility and unfriendliness were exchanged on both sides. It was a spiral of negativity. By completely changing my living environment, I was able to escape this vicious circle.

And that is also my wish for every other vegan: We can be proud that we live cruelty-free, protect nature and respect all living beings.

It is not hatred and hostility that changes the world. Love, kindness and a smile do so much more. Unfortunately, there are enough theaters of war in this world.
It is probably my Buddhist attitude that convinced me that vegans can also act nice and friendly and thus have a much more positive effect on animals. Vegans are not the bad guys in this world. That's why we don't need to act as such and hurt other people's feelings.

In TheFeelGoodVegan, vegans and non-vegans alike should feel welcome and find something that makes them smile and opens their hearts to more compassion.

Als Veganer hat Mann und Frau es nicht immer leicht. So ging und geht es auch mir. Nur wenige Menschen in meiner Umgebung leben vegan und haben Verständnis für den Veganismus.

Lange habe ich darunter gelitten. Anfeindungen und Unfreundlichkeiten wurden auf beiden Seiten ausgetauscht. Es war eine Spirale der Negativität. Mit einem kompletten Wandel meines Lebensumfeldes, konnte ich diesem Teufelskreis entkommen.

Und das ist auch mein Wunsch für jeden anderen Veganer und Veganerin: Wir können stolz darauf sein, dass wir tierleidfrei leben, die Natur schützen und alle Lebewesen achten.

Nicht Hass und Anfeindungen verändern die Welt. Liebe, Freundlichkeit und ein Lächeln bewirken so viel mehr. Kriegsschauplätze gibt es leider genug auf dieser Welt.
Es ist wohl meine buddhistische Einstellung, die mich davon überzeugt hat, dass auch Veganer nett und freundlich auftreten können und somit viel mehr Positives für die Tiere bewirken. Veganer sind nicht die Bösen auf dieser Welt. Darum brauchen wir auch nicht als solche auftreten und die Gefühle anderer verletzen.

In TheFeelGoodVegan sollen sich Veganer und Nicht-Veganer gleichermaßen willkommen fühlen und etwas finden, das sie lächeln lässt und ihre Herzen für mehr Mitgefühl öffnet.
