I've always liked the "old ways" of doing things. All of my items are handmade by me, start to finish. Almost all of my utensils are made from trees that I take down myself. I split the logs into ruff boards, shape them by hand with a hatchet, draw knife and belt knife. I use patterns I've drawn up, but I don't follow them exactly, instead I let the wood decide the exact shape and curve the finished item will have. To me this is what handmade is, each item is slightly different, unique in its own way. Not identical like mass produced Items you find at stores.

Additional policies and FAQs
All of my food related items have food safe finishes. I use two types of finish, salad bowl finish which is very durable and low maintenance, it makes items easy to clean and basically waterproof. The second is a combination of mineral oil and beeswax. It penetrates and seals the pores of the wood, keeping water out while keeping the wood conditioned. Items treated with this finish should be retreated with mineral oil-beeswax, plain food grade mineral oil ( available at most drug stores) or simple cooking oil every few months for longest life.
