About MikelRobinson
Shop policies
I work with a variety of media but am most fondly drawn to vintage photography and light. Thematically, I try to create art that speaks to the beauty of the human experience, and provides nourishment to the inherent hope in the soul. I believe, that as an artist, I have a unique opportunity to express my awe and wonder of the world through the creation of my art, and I try to pass this experience on to others through my work.
All of my art is created using archival materials, and I love to do custom work. Please feel free to contact me with any ideas you may have, and we'll go from there! Enjoy your visit!

Returns and exchange details
In general, our refund policy is as follows: every piece we sell is either a signed limited edition print or a one of a kind original piece of art. As such, the item must be returned to us in original, pristine and resalable condition. If possible, the item should be returned in original packaging to ensure the best possible chance of safe return to us - buyer pays for the shipping cost, including insurance. If the print or original piece is found to not be in pristine condition, then we cannot offer a refund because we cannot resale it. However, we will be happy to return it to you at your own expense.
Please contact us, before returning the item, if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CUSTOM ORDERS:

Custom pieces are created one at a time based upon direct conversation with the prospective buyer. Custom pieces are not created without substantial input and pre-approval from the buyer before creation of the piece, and the piece(s) can be created to whatever parameters a buyer would like. As such, all payments collected for the creation of a custom piece are generally NON-REFUNDABLE. This is because extra time and materials go into the creation of a custom work: I need to be compensated for the time spent creating the piece(s), and the finished piece(s) may not be able to be sold to someone else. Your order of a custom piece is considered acceptance of these terms.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR JEWELRY PURCHASES:

I will gladly repair any piece, if possible, which has broken (FROM NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR) free of charge within 90 days of original purchase. I can also sometimes make simple modifications or adjustments to a piece for an additional charge. For repair or modification requests, please contact me before shipping your piece so we can discuss the details. Thanks!

For Items over 120.00 I am happy to offer Layaway
LAYAWAY POLICIES
A 40 day layaway is available with at least a 40% deposit, and the balance due in full within 40 days. At the buyer's request, the remaining balance may be billed as 1 additional payment due by the 40th day, or 2 equal payments- the first which will be due by day 20, and the 2nd which will be due by day 40.
For U.S. customers, the remaining balance payment(s) may be paid by Direct checkout, check(s), or money order(s). At the buyer's request, check(s) may be post-dated to due date(s) and mailed at the time of purchase, and I will hold them until until the due date(s). Money orders will be deposited upon receipt. If paying by check or money order please let me know when they are mailed so that I can be on the lookout for them.
For international customers, Direct Checkout will be the only accepted form of payment.
If a layaway becomes past due and payment is not made within 7 days of payment due date, the item on layaway will be returned to my shop on Etsy. I will send layaway reminders in advance of due date(s). ALL LAYAWAY PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you would like to use the layaway option, just let me know, and I will place your item(s) on reserve. You may then purchase them as you normally would, however PLEASE WAIT TO PAY UNTIL I HAVE SENT YOU AN INVOICE. This invoice will be for the first 40% or more down payment, and will contain additional information about balance payment(s) and due date(s).
All layaway payments/sales are final, with no returns or exchanges. Your choice of layaway constitutes acceptance of these policies.
