HOW TO DOWNLOAD FILES
Go to Your Account>Purchases and Review to see your orders. Click on the DOWNLOAD FILES label to the right to see the list of files. Each file can be downloaded to your computer by clicking on the Download Cloud label. If you purchase as a “Guest” you will receive an email from Etsy with a link to your downloads.
Some files may download as a Zipped folder. To access them, right click the folder and choose Extract All to unzip them or double-click on the folder and drag the files to your desktop.
Downloads need to be done while signed in to Etsy on a computer or tablet (not through the Etsy app). You can download to your phone if you sign in to Etsy through a browser.
FILE ASPECT RATIOS AND CROPPING
Aspect ratio means the proportion of width to height. The original source material is cropped to provide the ability to use a variety of standard frame sizes. This means small portions are removed at either the top and bottom or the sides to make the different ratios. Choose which ratio to use by looking at the listing description which shows the sizes each can be used for. When fitting to a frame, also take into account whether or not you will be using a mat within the frame.
You can also opt for a frameless look by having the file printed out on canvas, wood, acrylic or metal or by using a hanger frame (see where to order further below).
BEST PAPER TO USE
For high quality results, use heavy weight, matte textured paper or fine art paper. Fine art paper is available as single sheets or in pads at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Walmart, Target and online at Amazon and most art/craft websites. Choose a paper size with the length at least as long as your final desired size (if it is not exact, it can be trimmed down to fit).
You can print out at any size up to the largest shown in the listing description for that aspect ratio. Anything larger may look pixelated (jagged).
HOW TO PRINT YOUR FILES
You can print digital files using your own printer (with a high-quality color printer) or use a local printing business (results may vary if using a copy center). Under printer setup select the correct paper size. If the paper is the same size as the print, choose “full page” as photo size and “fill page” for the fit (rollers require a little space to grab the paper so there will be a small white border). If the print size is smaller than the paper size, choose “shrink to fit” instead. Select the paper type and choose the highest quality setting.
Settings might use different names but you can view a thumbnail picture to see how it is fitting the page and adjust as needed.
ONLINE PRINTING SERVICES AVAILABLE
You can also have digital files printed using a professional online service and the artwork will be delivered to your door. To order online, upload the individual digital file (not a link) that matches the ratio of the frame you plan to use and choose the size you want. Some vendors also offer the option to print out on canvas, wood, acrylic or metal if you enjoy a frameless look.
You can order online at:
FinerWorks.com
Mpix.com
Picanova.com
WHERE TO FIND A STANDARD FRAME OR HANGER FRAME
Files are set up for standard frame sizes that can be purchased in-store or online at:
Amazon
Michaels
Hobby Lobby
Target
Walmart
Hanger frames are an easy option that can be ordered from:
Amazon.com
HangerFrames.com
PosterHanger.com

ADJUSTMENT FOR CUSTOM FRAME
If using a non-standard frame size, choose the file with the aspect ratio closest to the custom dimensions you want. Print it so that both the length and the width are at least as big as the frame opening. Then either the top and bottom or the two sides will be too big. If necessary, trim a small amount of the excess so the artwork fits properly within your frame.
If using an online service, upload the file with the aspect ratio closest to the custom dimensions you want. Most sites allow you to adjust the fit and placement as needed prior to placing the order. If you have technical issues, please reach out to their support team for help.

As an artist, I am inspired by the sky, God’s great canvas, where He creates extraordinary paintings to be enjoyed each day. Genesis 1:3--Then God said, ‘Let there be light. And there was light.’ And God saw the light, that it was good.
