This pumpkin is so cute! I love that I was able to support a glass artist from my hometown and have such a unique piece for fall.

I love this pumpkin! I have bought a bunch of glass pumpkins, but this is one of my absolute favorites. It’s in the top three out of thirty plus. It is large and heavy and more gorgeous than the picture shows. Also the artist included a personal note which was so nice, especially when you are missing the chance of speaking with the artist in person since the shows are cancelled. Thank you for this beautiful pumpkin! I will save this shop in my favorites and buy more.

I was able to pick this order up within days of purchase. It was securely packaged and an easy trip from my home. The detailed glass hands are unique from any other glass pieces because, to me, they represent friendship and love. Garrett showed much enthusiasm for his art.

Very fast shipping, high quality mug, and he took the time to message me when I had any questions! Thank you! I love the mug!

The seller responded to my question in a very reasonable amount of time. He was very positive in correspondence. Shipped in a reasonable amount of time too. Item was just what I was looking for--a hand-made item from Glass City from someone born and raised in the city who loves his craft. It is one thing I like about the internet you can weirdly find exactly what you are looking for.

Absolutely in love with my one of a kind hand blown glass piece. The colors and design are even more beautiful in person! It arrived quickly and was well packaged. I am a huge believer in always always supporting small shops because quality over quantity always! Thank you so much Garrett Wheeler Glass! You are exceptionally talented! I will be back!

Glass city born and raised. I am truly blessed to do what I love for a living.
I am the oldest of five siblings born in 1981 to the loving parents of Bob and Linda Wheeler. Growing up in Toledo, Ohio I was surrounded by glass history, both artistic and industrial. My introductions to hot glass were annual school field trips to Libby Glass Factory and Sauder’s Farms. I watched these skilled gaffers in amazement as they effortlessly transformed the hot molten material into beautiful objects. Seeing those fascinating demonstrations stuck with me, I started seeking out more glass studios. Cedar Point, Greenfield Village, and the Toledo Botanical Gardens were the studios that I started visiting to learn more about this medium. My first time touching hot glass was in the spring of 2000 when I enrolled into an introductory class at the Toledo Museum of Art. After that first dip in the furnace I was hooked and wanting more. From that point on, I knew, that studying and working with glass was going to be one wild journey that I never wanted to end. That following fall I enrolled at Bowling Green State University to pursue my bachelor of fine arts degree, focusing on glass art. Unknowingly I was in the presence of the best mentor that I ever had the opportunity to study under. Robert “Bud” Hurlstone had created a nurturing learning environment that promoted the lifelong study of glass, teaching his students that glass is more than a hobby, it’s a way of life.
