The craftsmanship is absolutely gorgeous! The pendant looks even better in person that photographed in the listing. Possibly the most elegant, classy and high-quality woodwork I have seen. However, the cardboard box was squished in the delivery process and I had to re-package it before I can gift it - so hope the seller can improve the packaging or include an add-on option for a better giftbox.

Where the beauty of Mother Nature meets the beauty of woodcarving.

GatewayAlpha (Fabian and Nicoleta) is a husband and wife team based in Northern California.

Woodcarving is Fabian’s true passion. A self taught wood carver, he found a way to express his creativity and love of nature by hand carving wood pendants and occasionally wall crosses and wood wall decor. He creates his own designs, or puts his own mark on very well known shapes, like crosses and other religious symbols.

Every step of the process of transforming a small piece of reclaimed exotic wood into a piece of wearable art - cutting, carving, sanding, polishing and lacquering - is done by him and him alone. The colors and the intricate patterns of the exotic woods he works with are amazing!

The pendants he hand-carves try to accentuate and complement the natural beauty of each type of wood; no two pendants are alike, each one unique and special in its own way, each trying to tell its own story.

Nicoleta is helping with designing some of these unique pieces, and also is taking care of all social media promotions and customer service interactions.

We put a lot of love, pride and thought in our work, and we hope you will enjoy it too.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
★ We do not accept cancellations and exchanges.

★ If you would like to return your unworn pendant(s) or unused home decor product(s) please contact us within 14 days after delivery, for us to approve the return.

- We require the item(s) to be returned within 21 days from the delivery date, in the original condition (pristine, unworn and unaltered).

- Return postage is the buyer responsibility. We will refund the purchase price minus shipping and handling fees, only after we have received the item(s) back.

★ Damages to the product(s) caused by mishandling or wear and tear are not subject to refunds or replacements.

★ Unauthorized returns will be subject to 10 - 20% restocking fee, depending of the condition of the product(s) received.

★ You will get a full refund if your item arrives damaged in transit. Please send us within 7 days from receiving the order at least one photo that CLEARLY shows the damage of the unworn pendant(s) or unused home decor products.

★ You will get a full refund in a documented case of a lost package. The USPS considers a package as being lost after 30 days have past from the estimated delivery date in USA, and over 60 days outside USA.

★ Once approved and shipped, a custom order is not returnable (see details below in Additional Information regarding custom orders).
Shipping
★ We ship with USPS worldwide in 1 to 3 days from the date we have received payment.

The USPS estimated delivery times are as follow:

- USA ORDERS: For First Class Mail the USPS estimates delivery in 4 to 10 days. For Priority Mail the USPS estimates delivery in 2 to 4 days.

- INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: For First Class International Mail the USPS estimates delivery in 2 to 8 weeks, depending on each country's customs procedures and regulations.

- Weather conditions and heavy volume during the holidays may extend those estimated intervals.

CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE USA PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BUYING:

★ Import duties, taxes, and any handling charges are NOT included in the item price or shipping cost. Any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, VAT, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery are at the discretion of your country's tax and import regulations. Care instructions

Q: Can I wear the pendant all the time, swimming, showering, etc.?

A: We recommend for our wood jewelry to be removed before showering, swimming, and before bedtime. If continuously exposed to water the wood pendant will not lose shape but the layers of lacquer that covers it will eventually wear off.

Some of our pendants are more fragile than others. Wood is a natural material that can break when dropped on hard surfaces or if pulled forcefully, therefore all our wood jewelry should be handled with care.

★ Do not use any chemicals to clean the products, because the lacquer that covers them will be completely removed. If absolutely needed, use warm soapy water, wipe it down immediately after, and let it air dry away from direct sunlight.

Custom and personalized orders

Q: Can I have a pendant personalized?

A: All our wood products are finished and ready to ship, and cannot be personalized/engraved with names, numbers, etc.

Q: Do you do custom orders?

A: Depending of what it is required, we can make an assessment upon request. After all the details have been agreed upon, the payment has to be made in full, before any works begins.

You will have 24 hours to change your mind after commissioning the work. After that you will get back only 50% of the price paid if you want to cancel the order.

You will receive pictures of the finished product. If you do not approve the work, you will receive back 50% of the price paid, the rest will be kept as payment for the materials and labor invested in the project.

Gift wrapping and packaging

We ship our wood jewelry in a gift box, free of charge.

Sizing details

All our wood pendants are ready to ship, and cannot be resized or customized in any way.

Only the simple satin cord length can be adjusted upon request.

I am located outside of United States. Do your prices include VAT, and/or import taxes?

No. You will be responsible for any associated VAT, import and handling taxes that are levied by your government or postal service.
