WELCOME GATO FRIENDS from all over the world!
I am Adriana Gasperi, an international cat artist AKA “Gatos ilimitados” based in Portland, Oregon. I paint cats personifying their cherished and multi-faceted personalities. My art combines my lifelong interest in painting and drawing and my love for bright colors, design, and digital art.
While my cats embody wit and charisma, they also communicate important social messages I feel are important, such as ecology and animal protection.
MY INSPIRATION
Cats. Unconditional friends, independent, free, silent, curious and magical. Their flexibility and agility, makes them "unlimited", "ilimitados", there is no place unsuitable for them, climbing up and down as they wish, fast and elusive… They live in their own world and let us in from time to time… Of course, as magical beings, they are surrounded by myths, superstitions, urban legends and ignorance. Those intense and fascinating eyes hypnotize me and take me into a world of dancing cats, sometimes meditating, flying and even transforming into fish, dragons, butterflies, and mermaids…
