About GaupanCraft

Sales 17
On Etsy since 2018

Death is a part of life, and by designing and making these items, I am aiming to make death a beautiful part of life for people to wear and carry in their everyday life.

I love animals and I want to show their beauty even after their material life has ended. This is a celebration of the after-life.

All bones, fur, parts of animals, are salvaged from roadkill, animals found already passed in the forest, from game wardens and wildlife control, from farmers and other animal keepers, and none of the animals have lost their lives for the sole reason of becoming jewelry.

I believe in ethical sourcing for my materials, and most of the parts I process myself, from fresh animals. I get to be part of the decay process and understanding what happens to all living things in this circle of life. The parts and by-products that I can’t use in my craft is returned to nature for bugs and other animals to thrive on or to go back into the soil and fertilize the earth for plants and trees.

We are all a part of nature, so let nature be a part of you!

If you have any questions regarding my products or the process, feel free to contact me!
