More than just dogs!

Yes, dogs is where I got my start. Whimsical illustrations with bold typography inspired by the tequila and liquor bottles I designed at work each day as a graphic designer in downtown Chicago. When I got home from work each night I'd create a new illustration - dogs drinking coffee, baking cupcakes, playing sports.

On Saturday mornings I'd take my new works down to the farmers market in my neighborhood. I would hand collage them onto canvas late into the night before, some of them barely dry as I setup my booth early in the morning.

As my illustrations became more and more popular, I began adding them to neighborhood gift shops, including my original store Sacred Art in Lincoln Square.

6 years later, my collection boasts 1000's of designs in dozens of themes - not just dogs. My work is now available in thousands of stores worldwide as reproductions and direct through my shop as handmade to order pieces from my Perrysburg, Ohio studio.

    In 2008 my Etsy shop was born with a single illustration inspired by my Wrigleyville Chicago neighborhood. I was inspired by all the neighborhood dogs, the signage and of course, baseball. Today, I create my work out of my Perrysburg, Ohio studio.

Hello there. All of my work is original designs of my own graphic work, with occasional use of copyright-free engravings. The artwork is created using pigment inks on premium exhibition canvas for the highest quality image detail, depth of color, and brilliance. The artwork is coated by hand to give it brush texture and shine to intensify color saturation. Each piece is personally created in my art studio by me, and is signed, numbered and dated on reverse. Because your item is handmade to order, my current shipping time is 2-3 business days.

We reserve the right to substitute an item for the next larger size if necessary due to backorder. If you cannot accept a larger size for a canvas, please contact us before your order ships.


We permit a ONE (1) time EXCHANGE, less our original shipping and reshipment costs. Shipping costs for return of an item for an exchange are responsibility of the buyer. If your exchange results in a credit, it will be issued as a shop credit. Our restock fee of 15% is waived for exchanges.

If you do not want an immediate exchange and wish to utilize a credit at another date, you will receive a shop credit, less a 15% restock fee.

From Nov 11 to Dec 25, orders go to production instantly. Cancellations are not accepted at any time after the order is received. Please review all details of the order and be certain you wish to place the order prior to submitting it. If your shipping information is incorrect, it is not necessary to cancel. Simply contact us with a correct address. If you ordered a wrong size or format, simply contact us and we'll arrange an item exchange if the artwork hasn't been printed already.

Due to the nature of my artwork, all orders are non-refundable upon receipt of the order. By ordering and submitting payment, you agree to these terms. If items are damaged in transit, an insurance claim will be filed to recoup the costs of the piece(s) and they will be replaced. For items cancelled within 6 hours of purchase, a shop credit will be issued, less 15% restock charge.

If you are unhappy with the quality of the piece, please contact me before leaving feedback. I will be happy to work with you to reach a satisfactory resolution which includes a replacement or shop credit upon return of the artwork, less original shipping charges. Additionally, Custom illustrations and typography pieces are non-refundable.
Errors to custom artwork must be reported within 7 business days of receipt, and can be corrected for a replacement charge not less than 60% of the original cost, per our discretion. All custom requests and checks for accuracy are the responsibility of the buyer, regardless of when errors occur.

If an item arrives damaged, we will repair the item in a timely fashion, and will reship to the original shipping address. You must report damaged or missing items in an order within 72 hours of delivery.
Payment is appreciated at the time of purchase. If you do not intend to pay for the item upon clicking "commit to buy", please do not order the item. Unpaid transactions will be cancelled at our discretion within a reasonable amount of time following notification of intent to purchase. All of my items are made to order and I cannot begin creating the items if payment has not been made. I accept Paypal- Money Orders on some listings, Cashier's Checks, or Cash. I do not accept personal checks.

IF TRACKING INDICATES YOUR ITEM IS DELIVERED AND YOU CANNOT LOCATE IT, we cannot reship until USPS APPROVES a loss claim. We do not reship for items marked "delivered" under any circumstances.

We do not refund for items delivered after their expected delivery date. All transit and delivery times are just estimates.

It is YOUR responsibility to correctly indicate the shipping address for your order AT CHECKOUT. Etsy allows you to edit your address prior to submitting your order. We often ship within 24 hours of the receipt of an order and we will ship to the address provided at the time of checkout. We cannot be responsible for additional shipping costs required for returned, rerouted or misdelivered items due to incorrect addresses being provided at checkout.

We reserve the right to ship via the method we choose to ensure timely and safe delivery of your shipment(s). Our primary shipping methods are 1. UPS and 2. USPS. A PHYSICAL ADDRESS MAY BE REQUIRED (no P.O. Boxes) for delivery of your order.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - YOU MAY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING DUTIES/TAXES ON YOUR PURCHASES IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THEM. These charges are applied by your government/postal system. We are unaware of when and how much will be applied and we are not responsible for these amounts. Please be aware of this prior to making your purchase.

Our standard shipping time frame for our made to order canvases in 2-4 business days and our giclee prints should ship within 1-3 business days. Upon request we can attempt to expedite the creation of your artwork.

Most of our giclee prints ship within 1 to 3 business days following receipt of the order. Our prints shipped via first-class mail and typically require 4-7 business days to arrive following their pickup date, and they may require up to a total of 10 business days transit time. If you need your item earlier than this, it is your responsibility to select an appropriate shipping method upgrade.

To accurately calculate when your item will ship, simply count 2-4 business days beginning on the next business day, and not including weekends or bank holidays. Your item will ship by the 4th business day, but most likely several days before.

When your item ships, an email notification will be sent to the email address associated with your Etsy account. Please monitor your bulk/spam folder as these notifications sometimes arrive there. To prevent shipping errors, please be sure the address provided in your Etsy account is correct. Our shippers will use that information to send your item, not your Paypal info. If your shipping information is currently incorrect, please update your Etsy account as soon as possible.

Once your item is shipped, it should arrive within the timelines specified by USPS or UPS. We cannot be responsible for delays in transit time caused by adverse weather conditions, missed hub pickups or failed delivery attempts.
