Perfect. They really reflect the book and are very well made. Also, the black and white box and how the earrings were on a playing card with black and white stripes really completed the purchase. Again everything was perfect.

I save all my last beads for the occasional loaded charm bracelet. These are some of my favorite things to make.
One of my favorite pieces created as a nod to my heritage.
Fabric and buttons. They are as irresistible as beads. I love the endless variety of colors and textures.
A custom order for my sister who works in retail. Her mantra for getting through the hard days.

Seeing things as they could be and making them that way.

I started my shop as an evolution. I have always make the occasional piece of jewelry or embellished accessory for myself. In 2005, while at a craft show selling herbal products I'd made, I was sitting next to a lampwork bead maker. I was captivated. I purchased a few beads and made bracelets for my daughters for Christmas presents. Also at that craft show was a woman with strands and strand of beads for sale. Piles of gorgeous beads. I selected a few but that was all it took. I started making jewelry for myself to wear to my new job that was starting after the new year.

Earlier that year, a friend brought me her old typewriter and asked I could make her a bracelet with some of the keys. I had already made some pieces with game pieces. I found that I kept thinking of things that would be fun to say on a typewriter key bracelet. Or I'd see a fun license plate that would perfect.

As I found friends in the bead and jewelry making communities online, I also found out about Etsy. I set up shop in 2007 and have enjoyed being a part of this wonderful site since.
