I was very pleased with the Rosary and with the way Liz @ Maria dealt with every thing it felt more like talking to a friend rather than a shop, I was so happy with mine I ordered one for my Wife it was so good I would recommend this shop to every one God Bless you both for everything.

I ordered 3 of these lovely crucifix necklaces. I needed them by a certain date and Maria and Liz went above and beyond to make sure my order arrived when I needed them. My order arrived exactly on time, as promised. They were also kind enough to include some beautiful prayer cards with my order. I highly recommend this shop for quality and service.

Thanks guys for making such a beautiful rosary.. Fits great in my pocket and didn't get in the way at all (heaps better than a full rosary) will def be carrying this sound from now when I'm out and about! These guys were great from the time of ordering to delivery... Can't say anything better! Maria was totally they're all the time and so friendly! Great stuff!

Our Love and Devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary was the Inspiration for Gems of Mary
Gems of Mary is a mother-daughter endeavor, inspired by their mutual love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. In their home, a small altar was set-up where the family gathered to pray the Rosary in the evenings and on Good Fridays they begin their Chaplet Novenas culminating on Divine Mercy Sunday, for the 9th day of the Novena followed by Holy Mass at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
Liz has been making custom made jewelry for years and she has many requests to make "Decade Rosaries" for friends and relatives. She is also fond of giving Gemstone Decade Rosaries as gifts .. Liz always thought of having a religious jewelry shop but her ideas never came to fruition as her time was invested with the Ethereal Energy Shop and TruffleMint Shop, both on Etsy. Prayerful as ever, she prayed for guidance on the lingering thoughts of creating a shop with a collection of beautiful and unique Catholic Religious Jewelry, unlike what one normally see in Religious shops…something created by her hands, artisan work. With her mother's mutual interest, who shares the same dream and enthusiasm…Gems of Mary was conceived. Their background and passion for handcrafting jewelry, designing wearables and anything creative lend to the ease in making it a reality further bolstered with the strong desire to share a portion of whatever they make to Catholic Religious organizations. Within 24 hours, Maria started the ball rolling…setting up an email account, opened an Etsy shop and social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. This was followed by attending the International Gem Show to purchase gemstones and findings.
They both decided on creating and handcrafting Decade Rosaries…Pocket, Tenner and Rosary Bracelets as well as necklaces with religious themes. One of the most interesting and unique idea for a Pocket Rosary was the use of leather to string gemstones, using the same high quality gemstones as seen in the Energy Jewelry that Liz designed under the banner of Ethereal Energy. As member of The Artisan Group, Liz had participated in the GBK Oscars 2013 Gift Lounge, gifting celebrities and presenters at the Academy Awards with her stunning gemstone energy bracelets. Recently, Liz participated in the GBK Press & Media Golden Globes 2014 Gift Lounge. She also submitted her designs for consideration to the Stylists of The Vampire Diaries, The Voice and The Bachelorette.
Nina Dobrev, the main character for The Vampire Diaries wore her Carnelian Bronze Leaf Earrings at the 506 Episode of TVD on CW TV Network last November 2013.
Their goal is to provide unique and beautiful Catholic Religious products to inspire prayers and devotions, specially praying the Holy Rosary that our Blessed Mother loves. Gems of Mary will provide Decade Rosaries that is easy to carry or wear at all times….inspirational gemstone Rosaries to Tenner pocket rosaries made of Olive wood beads that comes directly from Nazareth, the birthplace of our Lord, Jesus. They will also provide a collection for First Communicants, Confirmation and Wedding accessories and gifts as well as jewelry with religious themes. All their products are handcrafted by Maria and Liz in their home studio in the Nation's Capital, Washington, DC

We are a mother-daughter team. We handcraft a variety of religious jewelry for you to love and cherish. We create unique gemstone rosaries and olive wood rosaries from Nazareth, gemstone chaplets, First Communion bracelets, Wedding Accessories, and wearable jewelry for men, women and children.

SHIPPING & HANDLING COST:
Domestic: USPS First Class with Tracking….$6.95
If Priority Mail, FedEx Deliveries, Insurance and Certified Mails are requested, shipping cost will be adjusted accordingly. Please convo me on Etsy.
Please know that we will do our utmost best in shipping orders as expeditiously as possible. We pack your orders with much care using packaging materials and bubble wrappers if necessary. All orders are sent through USPS First Class with Tracking. If you require your Order to be shipped differently, we will gladly accommodate your request. However, if some negligence occurs with the shipping, through no fault of our own, we cannot be held liable and responsible. We have no control of what goes on once the Order is handed over to the Postal Service.
You will receive your Purchase in a lovely Gift Box, ready for gift giving. A sateen pouch for Men's and organza pouch for women's are also available. Your purchase will be shipped in a brown bubble envelope to prevent damage.
ALL INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:
All International Shipments are shipped via USPS First Class. There is NO TRACKING and NO INSURANCE available for Regular First Class. Shipping can take 1 to 5 weeks. We cannot be accountable for the time that package are held in customs or other unforeseen delays due to increment weather or mail service problem.
For International Buyers, please be informed about Custom Duties, Insurance, and
Confirmation Receipt which are important for your orders.
FYI: PS FORM 2976, Custom Declaration CN22 - Sender's Declaration provides an
LC Number which serves like a Tracking Number. Please keep it.
For Orders over $100.00: It is recommended to use International Express Mail which cost $38.95. This includes Tracking and Insurance. To choose this option, you will need to purchase International Express Mail upgrade. If you choose not to purchase the upgrade, we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen shipment and we have no control over the mail, most specially overseas mail.

Refunds and Exchanges
We will accept Returns or Exchanges if you will contact us within 3 days of receiving an item. Returned merchandise has to be received by us within 5 business days. Returned merchandise should be unused and in the same condition when received. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipping costs with insurance which is non-refundable. A 20% re-stocking fee will be assessed within 24 hours of receipt of returns, barring there is no problem with the condition of the returned item, a refund will be processed thru Paypal or Direct Checkout.
Additional policies and FAQs
Regarding gemstones: gemstones beauty are usually enhanced by treatment through the process of Dye, Heat Treated or Irradiation. There are some Natural Gemstones that do not require enhancement such as Peridot, Iolite and certain Garnets. We always ask all our suppliers if their gemstones are natural, dyed, heat treated or Irradiated as well as the origin of their gemstones.
We scrutinize our gemstones for imperfections and look for the obvious signs of problems. If suspicious we have our 10x loop to look into it. Because we do not subject our gemstones to any kind of Gemological testing which can be costly for a small business such as ours, we rely on the ethical principles of our suppliers, be it Etsy or the International Gem & Jewelry Show. Our other suppliers are Art Beads, Silver Enhancement, Fire Mountain Gems, Rio Grande and Beadazzled. They stand by their products.
We also make a point of soaking the strands of gemstones in water overnight to make sure that if they are dyed, the dye will not leak out. Washing also removes some of the dust and other washable impurities before we use the gemstones in our collection.
CARE OF YOUR GEMSTONE & LEATHER JEWELRY:
Gemstone Jewelry should be separated from other jewelry to avoid being scratched.
Prevent exposure to direct sunlight from heat for long periods of time, such as a sunny window ledge to prevent the stones fading. Chemicals like chlorine, bleach, turpentine, acetone and ammonia can damage your gemstone jewelry. Personal products such as hair spray, cosmetic and Perfume and even toothpaste can damage gemstones also. Just wipe your gemstone and leather with a soft clean clothe.
CUSTOM MADE ORDER: There are gemstones that are of the highest quality and grade. We will find it for you. Cost will be adjusted accordingly. Custom Made Orders are non-refundable. a 25% downpayment is required.
REPAIRS: All our handcrafted products are carefully made by us individually with our own hands, with attention to details, retested, to make sure that they are securely crafted. If under NORMAL USE something happens, we will repair it at no cost to you. The Return S&H is the responsibility of the buyer. Please make sure that the gemstones and components are kept, for we may not have the gems in our stock any longer. There is a minimal cost if a replacement for the stone may have to be purchased.
