Such a sweet seller, thrilled to have new prints to hang in my apartment and threw in some other items since it took a while! Would definitely order again :)

About

Genevra Bell, lover of all whiskers

Books and pencils, paper and paint are wonderful tools to to own and to use. I strive to make magic with them the way others made magic for me when I was a child.

Genevra Bell is a graduate of Maharishi University of Management, 2009,
with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Cum Laude) with an emphasis in ceramics.
From 2009-2010 while living in England she continued to work in clay
in a shared studio with ceramist John Kershaw.
In 2011, she received a ‘Merit’ in Graphic Design from
Kendal College, England. No doubt inspired by the
British countryside, only a few miles down the road
from Beatrix Potter's historic home, Genevra moved
away from ceramics and began to paint and illustrate.
In 2012, Genevra moved back to the US with her
British husband so that he could attend university.
Genevra currently works as an illustrator primarily
using watercolor and ink.

Returns and exchanges
If you aren't happy with your purchase please contact me right away, but here are the general policies:

FRAMES: I consider my frames and matts a free service. They are very simple and black plastic. If you would like to have a commission done without a frame this will drop the price of shipping but will not effect the cost of the commission.

PLEASE NOTE ON PROCESSING TIMES: I do my best to finish all pieces within 2 weeks of payment/receiving of reference photos. Often I have pieces done in well under a week. However in the rare chance that I have a sudden unexpected influx of commissions the processing time may be extended past what is listed under each items description. In this case I will do my best to update clients with my current processing time. If you are concerned about getting a piece in time for Christmas (for example) please contact me prior to your purchase. I appreciate your understanding in this matter.

FOR COMMISSIONS:

SIZE: Unless you purchase a larger sized commission the illustrated area of the piece is aprox 3" but this is subject to change from piece to piece (the nature of the process). A small piece doesn't necessarily mean less work or detail, it's simply the size of the commission. If you would like to have a larger commission please contact me directly before purchasing an item. Fee's will apply.

Processing time begins once I have payment as well as all the agreed upon reference materials that I need from you.
Once your painting is complete you will be emailed a copy to proof. Once you have signed off on that the painting is shipped. Refunds may be given within 7 days of shipping. Any damages that occur while shipping will be covered by me. Please contact me asap if this does happen, pictures may be requested as proof.
This is rare, but: If you don't like the final project we can continue to work together with one more draft of the item. If you don't like it past the draft, a $10 fee applies to each additional draft. It should be noted however that re-do's on your piece will slow down the process, and shipping times will be delayed because of it.

FOR FINISHED PAINTINGS, PRINTS AND CARDS:
Refunds can be made within 7 days of payment.
If the item has already been shipped, the cost of shipping will not be refunded.
Shipping
For framed prints and commission, we ship USPS Priority mail. We will provide a tracking number.

Cards and unframed prints are sent in a non-bendable envelope. We try to keep the cost low on these so there is no tracking number provided for shipment.
