Announcement    Hi there! Welcome to my little Geniene Functional Art shop! Here you will find plenty of functional home and life items that are sure to make your world a little more colorful and enjoyable! All items are one of a kind, hand made and photographed by me.

I have been creating artwork for as long as I can remember, in every form, with every media, in every creative way I could imagine. The results became clear after years and years of experimenting, graduating with an Associates in Fine Art and riding my artistic wave in life, that I was a mixed media artist, illustrator. My customers have enjoyed my art through the juried art show circuts in Michigan, Indiana and Illinois for over 15 years.
Through layers of watercolor, ink, salt, prisma colors and bits and pieces from old to new, my works come alive with vibrant color and texture. Symbols. Words. Patterns. Inspiration beyond paper, deep feelings and emotions resonate with each one of a kind piece.
I utilize these images to bring life and funtion to everyday objects. Magnets, memo pads, calendars, cards, trivets, coasters, clocks, vases, wooden boxes, key hooks and other things used in daily life. I believe art should find a way into anything it can, not just a painting hanging on wall. I see art in everything and hope this translates to the people who enjoy my images as much as I do.
