5 out of 5 starsI love this, I get a lot of compliments on it. The thickness is great and has held up great to the torture our family inflicts on our kitchen table.

5 out of 5 starsShipping delayed in US Customs and the United States mail was very slow. GFARFabrics replied to my concerns immediately. Happy to write that the tablecloth is very high quality and colors exactly as on website.

4 out of 5 starsSchneller Kundenkontakt und kulanter Service bei unbeabsichtigter Falschlieferung. Erstattung des Geldes lief total flott und die ,falsche‘ Decke durfte ich behalten. Die Qualität würde ich als gut bezeichnen.

Custom and personalised orders
All orders are made to measure. We only hold stock in rolls and cut to size. This is why we can offer so many different sizes. We do not hold any cut size stock. It is all bespoke. We do not hem our oilcloths and vinyl cloths. They do not require hemming because they do not fray.
PVC TABLELCOTH / OILCLOTH TABLECLOTH / VINYL TABLECLOTHS
You have two sorts of pvc tablecloths - 1. Oilcloths and 2. Vinyl Cloths. The oilcloths are made by coating a lovely piece of soft furnishing fabric often used for curtains and upholstery with PVC. The vinyl cloths are a laminate of a printed pvc and polyester felt.
The pvc coating can be hard or soft , shiny ( Gloss ) or matt. We prefer a hardness and a matt coating that allows for a natural look and drop on the table.
The pvc used on out tablecloths is Phthalate Free.
Sizing details
TABLECLOTHS
Remember always to allow for a drop when you order a tablecloth. The drop you want is up to you but we think that the preferred drop is between 6” ( 15cm) - 8” (20cm) each side. That means you have to add 12” (30cm) - 16” (40cm) to the size of the table. If the table is 92cm x 92cm you need a tablecloth that is between 122cm x 122cm and 132cm x 132cm. For a round table if the diameter is 60cm then you require a 90 to 100cm diameter cloth.
TABLE PROTECTOR
As close as possible to the size of the table. No drop.
Creases
When an oilcloth is bought folded there will be creases. Choose the expedited option ( Not for exports please ) if you want the oilcloth delivered crease free on a cardboard core.
You can help eliminate the creases by using a low heat iron with a cloth on the fabric side.
Creases however will relax and you will stop noticing them.
Gloss coatings are more durable than matt coatings and will crease slightly more. Matt coatings look more like linen but require more tender loving care.
SAMPLES
We send out free samples in the UK. A maximum of 3 . For the EU we will also send 3 samples but we have to charge £1.50 to cover postage. We will obtain payment by sending you a PAYPAL request, The samples are B5 size.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS 1
A PVC tablecloth is not a table protector. It is stain resistant and not heat resistant. PVC will start to soften at around 90ºC so it is not advisable to place hot plates directly from the oven, hob or microwave onto the tablecloth.
Certain products will permanently PVC TABLECLOTHS
Do not dry clean.
Do not launder or hand wash.
Do not iron on the coated side. An iron on low heat setting on a cloth on the uncoated side will help remove creases. Creases on their own will disappear partly over time.
The cloth will degrade if left outside in the elements. Sunlight will affect the colour.
Wipe stains off immediately as many products will stain if left on too long.
TABLE PROTECTOR USE & CARE PT 1
The embossed expanded PVC side or the hard PVC side is
placed face up.
The felt side is always against the tabletop.
Just wipe clean with soapy water to clean the table protector.
No Laundry or Dry Cleaning.
Do not leave the table protector with the embossed expanded
PVC side directly onto the tabletop for any length of time as
this will mark the tabletop.
The table protector is not stain proof.
Both are designed to be used UNDER a tablecloth. They are
not anti-slip but in normal practice they do not move around.
NEVER place plates direct from the Oven, Hob, Grill or
Microwave onto the table protector. ALWAYS use a table mat
if unsure.
TABLE PROTECTOR USE & CARE PT 2
It is NOT advisable to place hot plates directly from the oven, hob or microwave.
These table protectors are designed to protect MODERN tabletops from heat, stains
and slight knocks. The table protector itself is not stain proof. The pvc will start to
deform at 80 – 90°C . Modern tables that can withstand these sort of temperatures
are protected. Older lacquers especially French cellulose lacquers can mark at wet
temperatures as low as 40°C and require very special care and are not protected.
TORINO is slightly thicker than ROMA and so offers more protection against heat
and knocks.
