"If I were Alice, I would never have left Wonderland."

"Although we all grow up, I believe everyone secretly wishes to return there too. I aim to create a Zen garden for playful hearts; a Japanese version of Wonderland, made out of paper."

As an installation artist/workshop leader, Giant Origami’s founder, Coco has spent past 5 years visiting many events and festivals worldwide, and co-created and showcased Giant Origami and Roborigami (interactive robotic origami).

“Zen installation for playful hearts” as a mission statement, Giant Origami has organically grown to be the pioneer of providing a playful solution to connect people from diverse background by offering engaging workshops to create evolving art installation to bring color and a spectacular display to unexpected places.

During her workshops and exhibition, Coco and the Roborigami team was often asked by participants and audience if they could buy the origami sculpture. Coco wanted to respond to their wish in a creative yet useful manner, she decided to create an intelligent space saving flat pack Giant Origami interior product - something that is useful in everyday life, engaging in the process of making and beautiful, simple and functional in design.
