As a result of the Pandemic, I was working from home with reduced hours, dramatically reduced income, stress and family isolation. However.... I was able to slow down and spend time with my son for the first time since maternity leave.

Flash forward a month into quarantine, I decided to do something nice for my friends and family. Anytime I can make people happy, I am in. I went online that night and ordered organic soap, candles, boxes, and created an image for the box. I stayed up until 2am building 20 boxes for my loved ones. Once I was done, I looked around at the chaos in the room and ALSO the room full of love. I was so proud of what I created. It was that night, that I said, "Hey... I should sell these. I could make a lot of people happy". Normally, that statement would have been the end of it. Not this time. This time, I am home. This time, I am less stressed. This time, I have the support of my family. The next morning I got out of bed, took a table outside, and took pictures of the boxes in the morning light. I then posted them to Facebook, and Instagram. I offered free contact-less local delivery. Before I knew it, we were sold out! Within 3 weeks, we had the pleasure of delivering and mailing hundreds of gift boxes. We received so much love, made people cry, made people smile, and kept people connected despite the quarantine distance.
