Ever since I was a child I always played the smiling game and always taught it to others....instead of waiting for people to be happy, smile at them and see how quickly they smile back. That's how I feel about my pieces. I want to bring smiles to people's faces with my special pieces. The pieces are unusual and sometimes have deeper meanings to people but whenever people wear them they bring a smile, and if my customers are smiling so am I ! That's why Gilded's motto has always been:

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
If for any reason you have any issues with your order please contact us asap so we can fix the problem.
Please keep in mind the items are handmade and may very slightly from the photo. Because items are handmade and some are special orders we do exchanges only when absolutely needed and if contacted and agreed upon within 3 days of delivery. Also the customer is responsible for all shipping costs. ..NO REFUNDS. Customer is responsible for return shipping cost.We do not do refunds for returned packages due to being provided a wrong address. INTERNATIONAL orders , please also keep in mind we do not do refunds for returned unclaimed orders ( packages ).
Also if a package is refused or returned by any customer without approval there will be no refund or a 50% restocking fee and also no refund on shipping.
We do need to be contacted within 7 days of receiving item if there is an issue and we'll do everything we can to make things right for you .After all if you're not happy, we're not happy!

NO CANCELLATIONS: Please be sure you want what you're ordering before you place the order as I don't do cancellations...I am always more than happy to work with you if there is a need to change shipping address , size etc, simply contact me as soon as possible before your order ships out .
Shipping
I use USPS first class mail, your item will be securely packaged either protected in bubble wrap and or in a jewelry box inside a padded envelope.( some may be sent out priority flat rate mail at the same cost listed or an additional fee) Your package will be shipped out usually 7 to 10 days after payment is received PLEASE NOTE headchains and larger orders may take longer please allow at least 8-12 days as they are very time consuming to make ,IF YOU NEED YOUR ORDER BY A CERTAIN DATE PLEASE CONTACT ME PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR ORDER TO ARRANGE IT ,ALSO BE SURE TO ADD THE DATE AND INFO IN THE NOTE SECTION OF YOUR ORDER..

DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON I ALWAYS TRY TO GET ORDERS OUT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, again.... if you have a time frame you have to have them please contact me and let me know. . You will be notified when it has shipped and be given a tracking number.If you would like insurance there is an additional fee, please contact me before hand to add it to your cost

Additional policies and FAQs
Care for jewelry. All of the items are made with care and you need to also treat them with care. Please do not use any liquid cleaners etc., use a dry jewelry cloth in order to avoid tarnish, oxidation etc.
If its a belly ring and you are in chlorine and or salt water I would recommend rinsing with fresh water and dry to be safe.
Also jewelry including belly rings are for healed piercings only if unsure please consult your physician
