GildedTrifles carries a wide variety of high quality vintage costume and antique jewelry and collectibles such as vintage plates, glassware, and much more. I only sell items in mint or good condition. Items will always be clean and stones in jewelry will all be present and accounted for. Any defects in items will be disclosed in the description. We recommend that you look at our store policies before purchasing an item and if you have any questions or need clarification that you contact us so that we can provide you with an answer. In this way, if you need to return an item there will be no misunderstandings and nobody will be upset.

Payment
Orders paid for by credit card or debit card, are shipped within 3-5 business days and in many cases sooner.
Shipping
Shipping amount will be listed per item for first class, priority mail, or first class international mail. If you wish to add full insurance and delivery confirmation, please let us know and we can add these costs to your order. Express mail options are available through United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS) or FedEx (FedEx is available for U.S. addresses only) for an additional fee. Please note that UPS and FedEx do not deliver to post office boxes. Please email (jean_alpe@yahoo.com) for shipping options and expenses. On international orders, if you do not accept delivery of your package or do not pick it up from your postal service and it is returned, there will be no refund issued for your item. If you wish to have the package reshipped, additional prepaid postage will be required. Customers will be responsible for all taxes, duties and charges imposed by their government on items imported into their country.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns that are sent without my prior knowledge will be refused and any monies paid will not be refunded. Items that are not returned within the seven-day period will be considered sold. Unfortunately, not everybody is honest and GildedTrifles has had to institute this policy to discourage buyer’s remorse and items being used for special occasions and functions before being returned for a refund. No postage or shipping costs will be refunded on returned items.

All clearance items are final sales and no refunds will be issued.

I make every effort to securely pack items for shipping to prevent damage and breakage. However, in the unlikely event that, despite my best efforts, your items do arrive damaged, please take the entire order (all contents and all original packing materials) to your local U.S. Post Office immediately to file a claim. The U.S. Post Office will send the claim to me for processing. Please do not repack and do not mail the damaged items back to me as this will void the U.S. Post Office insurance and I will not be able to issue you a refund. If your order is delivered by UPS or FedEx, please contact them to file a claim.
