I started sewing when I was little and have always kept up with crafting of various kinds. After my daughter was born I began making fleece hats to occupy myself. Then along came the inspiration for stuffed animals and accessories for all seasons. Sewing is a wonderful release for me--as a community mental health professional, my days can be stressful, but my sewing machine and my bucket of fleece is always there to greet me at night.
