Don started working with wood and designing handmade wooden crosses and Egyptian ankhs back in 2007. I started creating and designing jewelry shortly after that it's so funny I thought that I didn't have a creative bone in my body. My mother is a landscape artist and my father was in a jazz band before I was born and when I was a little baby.

I had always felt and would say that the creative gene skipped over me and into my two now grown children Brandi and Brandon. Once I started designing and creating things I felt so liberated and it felt and came so natural after many years of just laying dormant. I guess I had to come into a place in my life where I was more relaxed and really able to cultivate my gifts and talents that's when we decided to open our ETSY shop in 2008.

We lost our son Brandon in 2009 and the same week I got laid off of my job of 12 1/2 years and it was at that time that my creative work and designs took on a much deeper meaning and style I can see it and feel it when I look back at my earlier creations and designs.

There is nothing I would rather do than design and create jewelry, art, and decor for the home. I love working out side on the patio painting and creating jewelry. I'm still so excited every morning when I turn on the computer and look at our shop and when I get emails and phone call from people telling us how much they love our designs. I have always wanted a home based business and now we have one and we love being apart of ETSY. I plan on always designing and creating for the rest of my life it helps me to relax and it clears my mind.
