Announcement   From magical things like butterfly wings, glass flowers, old and new, hand painted porcelain, a Victorian button, a perfectly enameled leaf, silk ribbons, I design little works of art.

But they are only bits of this and that in a box in a drawer, - until you add yourself. Your own beauty, your movement through time and space, make my art come alive.

I enjoy working with you on custom orders. And I'm open to trading with fellow artists.

Welcome.

Welcome to Ginger Lily Designs. I've been designing jewelry for twenty years. I use the best materials available and alwalys have my lazy right eye cocked, looking for unusual items to incorporate in my designs.

Sometimes I write poems about something I've made. More often I'll suggest you look at photographs. Thankfully, Etsy allows lots of photographs.

Guarentee - I've worked hard to learn my craft, to bring art and craft together. I want my work to last a long time, long enough to be handed down, and so I use the finest materials and components and design in such a way to make sure the structure will hold up over time. Should anything structural fail in your first year of ownership - wires or chains break, a stone falls out - just ship them back to me and I will repair them without charge and ship them back to you.

And if you should drop them and a flower breaks, a leaf cracks, contact me. I may not have the exact piece available to replace, but often I will, or can find something that will do the job well. For this there will be a modest fee

Vintage Clothing - On occasion, I will offer vintage clothing. I've been selling vintage for eight years now, know it, and love it. In another life I'm an historian. That part of me makes it hard to walk past a wonderful piece of vintage that needs rescuing so it may bring pleasure to another person and continue its life as a cultural document of its time. So I don't walk by, but stop and see if I can pick it up, then sell it to someone who will appreciate it.

Additional policies and FAQs
CUSTOM ORDERS - I Love Custom Orders. Please convo me with any questions.

CONDITION - I use both contemporary and vintage components in my jewelry. Some of the vintage pieces I incorporate may have a ding, a tiny flea bite, a scratch on the enamel, but nothing will detract from the overall piece. I will note any such vintage wear in my listing description.

Vintage clothing? I will describe any flaws, this I promise.

I have no way to know where it lived before I found it. I hand wash or Dryel all items - I have lots of allergies - but you may wish to have an item dry cleaned before wearing, even though it will look and smell fresh when you receive it.

MEASUREMENTS - Measurements given are actual measurements of the item, measured with the garment lying flat on a table, from side to side, then doubled. It often helps to compare the measurements in a listing with those of a similar garment that fits you well. A minimum of 2 inches for ease, so you can lift your arms with the garment on, breathe without busting out the seams, is your starting point.

INSURANCE - Insurance is not included but strongly recommended, as I am not responsible for items lost, or damaged in the mail. The cost for DOMESTIC BIDDERS is as follows: up to $50 = $2.05, $50.01 to $100 = $2.30, $100.01 to $200.00 = $2.45, $201.01 to $300.00 = $4.60, $301.01 to $5000 = $4.60 plus $0.90 for each $100 or fraction thereof over $300.00.
