From Simple Toys to Enchanting Worlds

I have always had an artistic soul. As a child I would make my own dolls and many other things for them. I loved art in all forms and have been involved in creating things all my life.

I started wool felting when my daughter was very little. She was in a Waldorf school, which traditionally places emphasis on hand work and the use of natural materials. Wanting to create special toys for her, I began teaching myself how to felt with wool. I fell in love instantly. I knew that I wanted to share what I made with others and so my business "Ginger Little" was born.

I have come a long way since that first felted doll that I made. I would be embarrassed for it to be seen today! Along the way, I have developed my own style, keeping the Waldorf tradition in mind, but adding my own modern spin to it. I prefer to use natural materials which is lucky for me since I find so many wonderful treasures on my walks. I also love color which you will see in most of my work.

I hope to create things that spark a feeling of enchantment when you look at them - things that make you smile and wish you were a part of the magical worlds these little creations are part of. I hope that what I make will brighten someone's day and that they will enjoy them for years to come.

THANK YOU to all that have stopped by to see my work, and to those that are helping to support my little business. All of my lovely customers are appreciated!

Hello! I am very pleased that you are interested in my wool art and figures. I create all of my work with spirit and passion for what I do. I think you will feel that when you hold one of my little creations. I began with the Waldorf school of thought in mind and expanded it to include a modern take on the ideas. These figures give me such joy. I hope I can share that with you.
