Durante tutti i molti lockdown che tutti abbiamo attraversato ora, mi stavo cimentando in molti hobby diversi per tenermi occupato. Mi piacevano il ricamo e il punto croce, non così bravo nel decoupage e non riuscivo mai a correre. Avevo sentito che lavorare con l'argilla non è solo gratificante, ma piuttosto terapeutico. Ho sempre lottato con la mia salute mentale, quindi ero desideroso di trovare qualcosa che fosse consapevole e creativo.
Mi sono innamorato dell'argilla polimerica! È così versatile e puoi realizzare prodotti semplici in tempi relativamente brevi. Mi sono concentrato principalmente sugli orecchini per cominciare, ma con più pratica spero di poter imparare più tecniche e espandermi anche in altri prodotti!

During all of the many lockdowns we've all gone through now, I was trying my hand at lots of different hobbies to keep me occupied. I liked embroidery and cross stitch, not so good at decoupage and could never get into running. I'd heard that working with clay is not only rewarding but quite therapeutic. I've always struggled with my mental health so was keen to find something that would be mindful and creative.
I fell in love with polymer clay! It's so versatile and you can make simple products relatively quickly. I've mainly focused on earrings to begin with, but with more practise hopefully i can learn more techniques and branch out into other products too!
