TLDR Privacy policy: I don't use any of the information I receive from etsy for any purpose other than taxes and communicating with you about your order. I won't use it for marketing of my products to you, and I will not share your information unless it is required to do so to complete your order or issue you a refund. Note: I never get your payment details (credit card numbers or account numbers). That all stays with Etsy.

Information I Collect

To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment method, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. I do not receive or retain any payment details such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

Information Sharing
I will only share information as is necessary to complete your current order, or to remain in compliance with local laws
- Etsy - I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
- Third party shipping insurance - if an order requires a shipping claim, I will share order and address information with the insurance organization to complete the claim.

Data Retention
- the only order information stored off Etsy is used for taxes. My records are kept for 7 years. Etsy appears to keep your information indefinitely, so you should ask them about that.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request. That said, to completely remove your information from Etsy, you have to contact Etsy, not me.
Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons. Again you would need to follow up with Etsy to ensure they have removed your information.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
