5 out of 5 starsThis beanie was awesome. I have a pretty large (size 7 3/4) head so literally every beanie I've ever tried that is one size just doesn't fit, best case they kind of get to the top of my ears if I really stretch them, worst case they just pop right up off.
This beanie fits absolutely perfectly and looks so good my wife even said it makes me look like I have a normal head.
Thank you GirlpowerKnits! -

5 out of 5 starsThis is the third scarf I've purchased and they've all been perfect from Girlpower Knits. It's really nice how the seller will make a custom scarf (I have a wool allergy and this is MUCH appreciated)!! She's so sweet to work with too!

5 out of 5 starsI have just received my latest scarves from Girl Power Knits - 2 of the same in lilac and one in biscuit (see pictures). I cannot describe how happy I am with these scarves. The perfection of knitting/crochet is astounding. Everything is done with such friendliness and expertise. I would say this is the best "knit" company/shop there is anywhere.

5 out of 5 starsI love this hat! It's extremely well made, no seams. The fit of the hat is just what I wanted. I have a big head so I needed it to stretch, but I wanted it to feel fitted without compressing my head. The knit pattern is a bit like an accordion, so it does all this. The yarn is really soft. I worried that not being 100% alpaca, it would be itchy, but it's super soft.

Girlpower Knits is a small, woman-owned business operating in heartland USA.
I'm Emily, shop owner, hand knitter and knitwear/pattern designer
The shop name came pretty naturally with 6 sisters who all loved knitting...
I started my shop as a way to branch out on my hobby, to share the joy of luxurious, natural fiber hand knits with others.
I design most of my items, and love to come up with unique and special knits, there's a fascination with turning strings of yarn into a garment or accessory. I have so many designs and ideas whirling in mind! My studio is wherever I am, and inspiration comes from everywhere, it might be a color combination, a blanket draped on the bed, or a delicate budding blossom...
About my process:
I begin with yarn, needles and a vision for each piece and stitch by stitch a creation unfolds.
Quality makes the piece, I use soft and natural wools, alpacas and cashmeres, as well as a few washable blends for those who prefer something a bit easier care.
After many hours of work, I wash the item, then store it in a container to prevent any contamination.

I gladly accept returns
I don't accept exchanges or cancellations
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
- Custom or personalized orders

Returns and exchange details
To qualify for a return, piece must be unworn/unwashed, free from odors (smoke, etc.) and pets.
*Custom orders are non returnable/refundable*
There are several reasons I cannot accept returns on some items:
Knits may quickly pick up pet/human hair, dirt, etc.
Pieces like hats cannot be resold as "new" if worn.
Some fibers can quickly pick up odors, such as smoke and air fresheners.
I am VERY particular in listing fiber content and measurements. I'll be happy to answer your questions.
For lost/damaged packages please see shipping policies.
Payment
You can also use a CC/DC through Paypal - just choose the "don't have a paypal account" option on the bottom of the payment page when checking out! Paypal will then ask for your credit card and info.
I do not included a printed receipt with domestic orders - ask in "notes to seller" at checkout if you need one.
Kansas residents are charged a 8.5% tax rate
Shipping
United States: USPS 1st class (2-5 days) or Priority mail (2-3 days). Express (1-2 days) can be requested.

I offer 1st class international shipping (2-6 weeks) on the majority of my listings.
