I love the design/look of this binder. My issue with it is more around practicality. First, it has a cardboard-like finish. I like it in theory, but the first drop of water showed. It's not very realistic for an item that will be living in my kitchen, especially as I am cooking! Second, the binder itself is a bit too supple, as in the outer covering isn't lined or rigid in any way, as you might expect a normal binder to be. This also makes storing it somewhat difficult with other books. Again, it is super cute and it will work for the time being, but I will likely replace it in the not-too-distant future.

Drawn by hand, to give or keep.
Girls Can Tell gift co. is a line of useful gifts featuring the original, hand drawn illustrations of Sara Selepouchin.
Based in Philadelphia, Girls Can Tell gift co. goods are made from materials sourced as responsibly as possible, and are printed by hand in Philadelphia. New designs and products are introduced often to keep things interesting + fresh.
Sara's years of mechanical drawing experience and degree in architecture, along with her love of fun, useful gifts, are the primary inspirations behind the Girls Can Tell collection. She began making annotated drawings of everyday objects we love and fun then printing them onto useful things in 2005, and hasn't stopped since. The belief that surrounding yourself with things that make you smile is important is what it's all about.
Come meet the artist! Most days, you can find Sara in the South Philadelphia retail shop, Occasionette - if you're in the neighborhood, stop in and say hi! Girls Can Tell gifts are also available in select boutiques + museum shops around the country.
