Where did Girls Got Goalz come from?:
"Why are you eating a big salad and water?" "...because, girls got goals."

And that's quite literally the way I remember thinking the phrase "Girls Got Goalz" up. For me, eating healthy (more than just a salad!) and working out were the ways I was getting to my goals. "Girls Got Goalz" became the way I thought... it was a reason why I was (or wasn't) doing something.

Getting up at 5am to workout before work. Eating a big salad instead of a burger and fries. I didn't want to cover myself up anymore at the beach. I didn't want to feel self conscious when trying on clothes. I wanted to be able to do a push-up. To feel strong. And I was serious about what I was trying to do.

My names Adele, and I've successfully lost 45+ lbs through literally sweating my butt off and eating whole foods. I want to help other girls do the same. I'm tired of fad diets and detox teas that don't work (if they did, we'd all be doing them!). I'm in this for the long haul and creating everyday healthy habits that we can all get behind.

The workout apparel in my Etsy shop are my way of helping motivate you to workout and start creating your healthy habits. Wearing headbands during cardio, hats for outside runs, and tank tops we're all part of my fitness journey.

I know you can do this, and I'm cheering you on.

And if you're looking to create healthy habits and start working out, you can get started here: https://www.girlsgotgoalz.com. I've put together some "Getting Started" posts to help you out. :)

Where did "Did You Sweat Today?" Come From?

"Did you sweat today?" I snap-chatted a sweaty face picture to my sisters, boyfriend, and some friends on snapchat. Weren't they lucky, they got to see my sweaty face after I just finished doing Zumba for 45 minutes. Burning so many calories and feeling all those endorphins. That was my outlet, and I loved it.

That "did you sweat today?" snapchat held me accountable, it made me feel proud, and it helped me start an amazing habit of working out and actually liking it.

Later down the road I changed my eating habits (sorry, Menchies, only one time a month from here on out), and I began to see change in my body. Slowly, but surely.

So.. did you sweat today?
