Knitting project bags, needle holders and more from country NSW

From snap bags with quirky prints to functional knitting needle holders, I design and make pouches, storage solutions, and yarn craft accessories. I love to play with materials, colours and techniques to create items that people can cherish. You'll find a variety of different fabrics used in my shop and I hope you find an item that sings to you :)

As a small business I like to support other small businesses whenever possible and I consciously try to minimise waste and energy use in my studio to reduce the impact my business has on the environment.

I enjoy making things that people want (or want to give to someone) so if you would like a particular item in a different size, fabric or customised just for you, send me a message!

Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Digital downloads
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
I take a lot of pride in my creations however if you find a fault with a product please let me know before posting feedback so that we can discuss options which may include a repair, replacement or a refund based on the extent of the problem.

Except for custom or personalised orders, digital downloads, or items on sale, a refund (minus shipping costs) can be provided if you change your mind and you contact me within 14 days to discuss the return of the product in original condition.
Payment
I recommend using PayPal for your purchase. I also accepts Etsy Payments (by choosing the Visa/Mastercard/etc option at checkout). If you haven't used Etsy Payments previously then please be aware that some card providers (in particular in Australia) may charge a fee as Etsy processes some of these transactions overseas. If you're unsure whether your card provider will charge a fee then I recommend using PayPal.
Shipping
** Delivery **
"Standard Shipping" delivery from the date of posting to:
- NSW is often within 2-4 business days
- other Australian states is often within 2-6 business days (or 2-4 days for "Priority Shipping")
- International destinations are often within 2-4 weeks but may be up to 8 weeks

"Fast and Tracked" international delivery from the date of posting is often within 1-3 weeks.

Germany and Canada : Due to regular delays at your in-bound Customs your order will be sent as "Fast and Tracked" however please contact me if you would prefer a lower cost option.

Regardless of the chosen shipping option the postal services can be slower if you live away from big cities, at random times, in peak times due to more mail going through Customs and the postal systems, as well as during significant weather events.

Please contact me on Etsy and I will follow up with the postal service(s) if your order hasn't arrived:
- in Australia after 2 weeks
- "Fast and Tracked" international after 3 weeks
- "Standard Shipping" international after 6 weeks

** Australian orders: Buying multiple items **
Shipping is calculated for the heaviest item and all other items in your order will ship for free.

** International orders: Buying multiple items **
Etsy will calculate the *maximum* shipping and it can overestimate the shipping when purchasing multiple items. If the actual postage + packaging cost is less then I will refund the excess to you.

I'm always happy to provide a fixed quote or faster shipping options before purchase.

Does Give Me A Crown collect GST, VAT or import fees?

Give Me A Crown does not collect GST, VAT, duties or import fees. Buyers outside of Australia are responsible for checking the import laws for their country to ensure that the item can be sent to you, and are responsible for any additional costs that your country may determine such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.

Can I send something directly to a gift recipient?

Absolutely! When you checkout please use the recipient's address as the shipping address and let me know in the note to seller option if you'd like a personal message included in the package.

Please note that for orders sent outside of Australia I must include a Customs form (and invoice for some countries) which shows the price as the details are used for the assessment of import fees which your gift recipient will need to pay if any fees are due. If you have any questions, please let me know before purchase.

Can I order an item in a different fabric or size?

Please contact me through Etsy and I will happily check my fabric stocks to see if I can make your wish come true. As long as I have the fabric available then I don't charge extra for custom orders of my standard products.

Are the international shipping costs accurate?

The shopping cart will calculate the *maximum* shipping you will pay to receive your item from Australia.

When purchasing multiple items the shopping cart is likely to overestimate international shipping. e.g. two small bags can generally ship for the shipping cost of one, and a "Fast and Tracked" upgrade on one item will cover the shipping costs of multiple additional bags.

If the actual postage + packaging cost is less then I will refund the excess to you, and I'm always happy to provide a fixed quote or faster shipping options before purchase.
