Playing With Dolls

I never had a Barbie doll; I had a Midge. I still have her. I never really played with her that much even though my mom made her some pretty neat clothes. What I really liked was my paper doll - the one where you could change all the clothes and accessories on a flat board. The clothes had these little tabs that you could bend around the doll to keep them in place. They didn't stay in place long. I played with that doll for hours. Arranging. Rearranging. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Thank you for stopping by my Etsy shop, G. Jarvis Jewelry, etc. I run this shop alone, creating all pieces, selling, shipping, and responding to questions. I also have a full time job so there are times when there will be a delay in responses Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me within 3 days of receipt to report issues. I cannot accept exchanges or refunds after an item has been worn.

No refunds or credit for custom made items.
Paypal and Direct (credit card) checkout are my preferred methods of payment. I do not accept personal checks. In rare and pre-approved circumstances I might consider accepting another form of payment such as a money order. I expect payment to be made upon purchase, though I also realize that this isn't always possible. If for some reason you are unable to make your payment within 3 days, and unless other arrangements have been made, I will cancel the transaction.

I require pre-payment in full on all custom orders. I ask that you please make sure that the description in your custom listing is correct prior to purchasing. If you need to make a change in your order (colors, size, etc.) please contact me as soon as possible so that I can avoid having to make another item.
Unless otherwise specified, I will ship your purchase to the address you have on file with Etsy.

For the most part I ship USPS First Class on small items, and often ship Priority for larger items. I ship internationally by USPS as well, using First Class. International buyers please note that there is not option for tracking on International shipping. I do not automatically insure shipments under $150. If you would like to purchase insurance, please contact me so that I can calculate the cost with insurance of shipping your parcel.

International insured parcels start at $25 and go up from there. The post office only offers insurance on priority parcels, which is why they are so expensive to ship (but they get to you faster).

I cannot be responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items should you choose not to insure it.

For international shipments, please note that many countries charge a duty tax. I encourage all buyers to familiarize themselves with their country’s customs regulations before making an international purchase from my shop. If your package is returned to me, unclaimed at your end, I will immediately make an attempt to contact you by email to notify you that your package has been returned as unclaimed package (or any other reason). If you do not respond to my emails, I reserve the right to keep the item and re-list it as for sale again on my Etsy site.

Jewelry is typically shipped in a gift box, unless the size is too awkward to use a box. Please let me know in the "Message to Seller" if your purchase is a gift and if you would like a card included.
