About

Welcome to my beautiful world of unique handmade and hand-dyed garments made in USA.

Since 2003, I have hand-dyed and embellished reclaimed vintage garments.
In my hand-dying process, I mix colors using my original recipes. I do all the sewing myself and I use recycled media in my embellishments like lace, tulle, and ribbon etc.

inspiration...
I remember my mother's slips as delicate, feminine and beautiful. My love and admiration for my mother as a child and the longing to wear those glamorous garments gave me the inspiration to create my own line.

collecting...
I was born and grew up in Sweden. Shopping for vintage was my passion as a young girl. My joy for beautiful garments has developed into a labor of love. I have always wondered who owned and cared for these lovely vintage slips. In my mind, they must have been loved and treasured by the most glamorous women through the years.

my craft...
The colors I hand-dye are influenced by earthly elements, which give me inspiration to experiment in developing new exciting palettes. My designs are embellished with lace, ribbon, and beads. I always want to create a timeless one of a kind garment that expresses individual beauty to every woman regardless of age or size.

sustainable...
My creations originate from a vintage American made garment. In all my embellishing mediums I use recycled materials. As an independent green designer, I hope that my sustainable line brings not only glamour, but also comfort of knowing that you are reducing carbon footprints by wearing my design.

ALSO! A big, heartfelt thank you to all of my lovely, regular customers (and new ones, too), who make doing what I love to do possible ♥

I hope you love my little shop!

Welcome to my beautiful world of unique hand-dyed colors and embellishments. Your business is highly appreciated.

My sustainable collection features everlasting garments that you will treasure and love for years to come.

Glam Garb's revived garments originate from a vintage, one of kind garment, so 99% of the merchandise will have had a previous life.

Every vintage garment has a story, a beauty and a timeless charm...

Mystery is a quality I treasure in a vintage slip.
I love the rare, rustic and lacy vintage garments. which opens the door to my heart and brings comfort and joy to my life...

I never give up on a vintage slip I adore.
My goal is to install the feminine grace of each garment.

Live and let relive, re-purpose, recycle, revive!

Additional policies and FAQs
I work very hard to accurately describe, measure and photograph each garment in my shop to ensure you get the best fitting slip/garment.

Please double check your measurement and compare the listing size with your own size.
I always give you a flat measurement on a slip, meaning that it is laying flat on a table and measured straight across. This gives you an easy 'Do it yourself' measurement guide.
Keep in mind that vintage garments tend to run smaller in size compare to today's standard sizing. Again, that is why you need to compare your measurements with mine very carefully.

In the creative/production process I have inspected every garment very carefully, so if I see a small flaw I will describe as "minor flaw". I tend to think that the beauty of my creations overshadows the imperfections.

All my creations originate from vintage garments, and there is only one of each item.

Please keep in mind that computer monitors vary in color representation.

Returns are off course accepted if I made a mistake in describing the slip.
