The total bill must be paid in full via Pay Pal before the order will be shipped out. In the event the order is not paid in full, the customer has 24 hours before the item(s) will be taken off hold and relisted on Etsy, unless another agreement is made directly with me via email. The total bill includes cost of the item(s), shipping & handling, and sales tax. If you live in IL you must pay a 9.75% sales tax.
All purchases are shipped via FedEx Ground, unless arranged otherwise. I subsidize the Shipping & Handling costs for all of my customers as a way to say THANK YOU, but I can not afford to offer free shipping, unless I am running a special coupon say for instance around the holidays. If the customer's purchase is over $100 total, insurance will be purchased for the shipment which the customer is partially responsible for paying. It is the SOLE responsibility of the customer to inspect the shipment upon delivery and make any claims to FedEx if the products within are damaged. I have no power in this situation, so please look at your order right away and make any claims!

If the customer would like an expedited shipment, an additional cost will be added to the total bill. All shipping costs must be paid in full before an order will be shipped out. Shipping costs vary depending on weight of order, packing materials and insurance cost if exceeding $100.

Refunds and Exchanges
Glashjärta Glass does not issue refunds, unless under said circumstances detailed below. However, in hopes that each customer receives a product that they love, I will extend an exchange or replacement policy within reason. Upon receipt of payment to GG, the customer has 21 days to return the product for an exchange with a product of equal value. Of course, the product must be returned in brand new condition. If there is any suspicion of ‘wear' of product or damage to product by customer, the exchange policy will be void and the product will be returned to the customer. For any exchange, the customer will be charged for the return shipping of the item. The item(s) will not be returned until this is paid in full. Please contact me within the 21-day time limit to arrange an exchange.

Instances of Refund

1. Previously Sold
Under rare circumstances, an item may be ordered on-line which may have been sold earlier that day. In such cases, I will notify you within 1 business day. At that time you may choose to replace that item with another listed item of equal value, or have your money returned in full.

2. Defective Product
All items sold here are hand-made and crafted. I create and fully inspect all items before I ship them out, however in rare instances a product may be defective such as a loose jump ring in a necklace. A small flaw or bubble in the glass does not constitute a defect. There will always be imperfections within the glass! This is one of the wonderful and beautiful things about buying hand-made. The pieces of art here are not 'perfect' and factory made. That said, if you feel your product is defective, I will replace or exchange your item(s) within reason. See above for the policy.
