About GlassArtByPatrice

Sales 384
On Etsy since 2009

I love making interesting glass art creatures. They are generally cute, and the least serious of wearable art. ;)

My glass adventure started out as another hobby, but related to my desire to collect unique glass beads. I would spend hours at bead shops, combing through the odds and ends, collecting one-offs and trying to match focals with spacers. My husband suggested I make my own, and once we got a little torch area setup, it was a whole new world. I was terrible at it for the first two years, but like anything worthwhile, you have to keep trying. After about that second year, however, I hit my stride, and we invested in more equipment once I proved I would stick with it. Now, 14 years later, it's a relaxing hobby that allows me to share a love of nature and unique creatures and creations with you, the astute connoisseur! :D

I include a gift box with all purchases. As items are being shipped, please feel free to remove the added bubble wrap before final presentation if you are gifting the glass art to someone else.

Care instructions

This is glass art, and while it's the strongest glass of all the art glass available (this is borosilicate/scientific lab glass/Pyrex), it's still glass, and needs to be treated as glass art. Please handle it with care so you can enjoy it for decades! :)
