About GlassDreamsHawaii

Sales 250
On Etsy since 2008

Much of my inspiration comes from the beauty of Hawaii...the blue Pacific Ocean, Koolau Mountains, and lovely tropical flowers.

I started working with stained glass years ago and spent several years enjoying and working only in that medium. Later I was introduced to "Lampwork" and once I melted that first glass rod I knew there was no turning back. The interesting way light plays with glass and reflects its colors has always intrigued me so it’s not surprising that I find myself drawn to this art form.

I hope that glass sparks an interest in you as well as you browse through my listings to get a sense of what I do. I am a one-woman show from lampwork, fusing, and jewelry to photography, listing, shipping, etc.

Thank you for stopping by my shop. I hope you will enjoying browsing through my listings as much as I do creating them. I am a member of the SRA (Self Representing Artists- SRA #F10) and the ISGB (International Society of Glass Beadmakers).

My lampwork beads are created with soft glass – usually Moretti, Vetrofond, Lausha, Bullseye, etc. and borosilicate glass. All beads are properly kiln annealed to insure strength and durability. The fused glass items are made using Bullseye COE90 glass. Finished jewelry items utilize my handmade beads or fused glass.

Please contact me with any questions you have about my listings.
