Hi, I am Ellen Gilbert, over many years I have developed a broad range of skills in the medium of glass. I have worked in cold, warm and hot applications, and my latest endeavor is beadmaking over an open flame. Lampworking enables me to provide you, the bead enthusiast and professional jewelry designer, unique beads that will turn your jewelry from great into grand! I draw from a variety of influences, including Old World, historical references, and natural elements and my hand-crafted beads reflect this. I am constantly experimenting with reactive colors, and exploring new techniques in order to bring a fresh look to my finished work.

I offer Gift Certificates. If you do not see one in the denomination that you are looking for, please convo me and I can make a listing for you.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I will gladly refund your purchase price if you are unhappy for any reason with your beads. All returns have to be made within 5 days of your receipt and will have to be shipped back with delivery confirmation. All refunds will be made through PayPal upon receipt of returned goods.
The only form of payment that I accept is through PayPal. Payment is expected immediately after purchase.
SHIPPING: I will gladly combine items for shipping. I mail ALL packages USPS first class with delivery confirmation.

PLEASE If you want International Priority shipping it will cost $9.00 to Canada and $11.00 to European and Asian countries.  Just email me and let me know and I will send revised invoice.
Additional policies and FAQs
The following numbers are my membership registry numbers for the "Self Representing Artist" for glass workers and the other is "Self Representing Artist Jewelry Designer". What this means is that all of my beads and jewelry are made by me and that you deal with me directly.

SRA Member #G34
SRAJD Member #0173

BEADS:My beads are wound on a variety of mandrels and I will give the size in each listing.  I use glass from the USA, Italy, Germany, and Japan.  Each bead is placed immediately into a digitally controlled kiln for annealing.  They are cleaned with a dremel and inspected for flaws.

Beads and jewelry are sent in attractively packaged boxes and bubble envelopes, just waiting to be received by you for your designing or wearing pleasure.

My other love is metal, more specifically sterling and copper and am exploring many techniques for creating beautiful finished pieces of jewelry utiliizing these materials.
