Welcome to Glass of Fashion! Thanks for stopping by.

I specialize in original vintage sewing patterns, mostly from the 1920s to 1960s. I'm also making my collection of vintage fashion catalogs and drafting systems available as PDF for instant download.

I check each pattern I sell very carefully to see if all the pieces and instructions are there. I strive to describe the condition of the pattern honestly to let you know if there are any tears, etc. I only sell patterns of a quality I would be pleased to receive myself.

When selecting patterns to list in my store I look for great design, interesting details or an unusual cut. Sometimes I've been known to fall for amazing artwork, or perhaps interesting construction techniques.

All the patterns I sell are genuine vintage originals, and not reproductions.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment
Paypal makes the payment process very straightforward - you can pay using a debit or credit card even if you don't have a Paypal account, no matter what country you're in. Or, of course, if you've a Paypal account you can use that.

If you're purchasing a PDF(s), you'll be able to download them instantly during the checkout process.

For patterns, I'll contact you to let you know when your item has shipped (this will be within 1 to 2 days of your order).

(I'm sorry I can't hold an item as "reserved" without payment, as this has led to frustration for other buyers in the past.)
Shipping
I take great care packing your order! Each pattern is securely packaged in a griplock waterproof re-sealable bag, and shipped in a stiff board-backed envelope marked "do not bend".

Items are posted from the UK. I ship your purchase within two working days of receiving payment. Delivery outside the UK is by Airmail. Depending on where you are in the world, Airmail items usually take 3 to 7 working days to wing their way across the globe to your door. Delivery in the UK is by 1st Class post.

Please note that all shipping costs include insurance but do not include tracking. Please do contact me for a shipping quote if you would like this service.
Refunds and Exchanges
I try hard to describe my items accurately, and want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if you feel I've misrepresented an item, or if an item has arrived damaged in the post, please contact me within 7 days of receipt to arrange to return the item and receive a refund.
Additional policies and FAQs
I really appreciate you leaving feedback for me - it's great to know that items have arrived safely at their destination. Or that you enjoyed your PDF download! Hearing that you're happy with your purchase makes me happy too :)
I also love seeing what you've made with your vintage pattern or PDF - please do send me a pic, or a link to one!

Any questions or feedback, please do get in touch!
