About GlassPizazz

I have always loved stained glass and now I create this wonderful art.

I started my shop to bring my creations out into the world. I enjoy creating custom items from customer requests. The wonderful reviews warm my heart.

All items are created by me in my studio. I use only the finest materials, which includes premium stained glass, pure USA made solder and high-quality copper foil. I don’t take shortcuts in my process and if a piece is not up to my standards, it will not be placed in my shop. I am honored that people spend their hard earned money on my art and feel they deserve on the best work I can produce.

The creation of a Tiffany style stained glass piece as made by Glass Pizazz.

Pattern pieces are cut out of heavy card stock. The pattern is then laid on the glass in the carefully chosen area. The glass is then scored around the pattern and using breaking and running pliers the glass piece is cut out of the larger glass piece. The piece is then taken to the diamond bit grinder to remove any sharp edges and refine any areas to insure a perfect fit. All pieces are then washed to remove cutter oil and dried. Copper foil is placed around the piece and burnished to the glass. All pieces are then put together very similar to a puzzle. The piece is soldered on both sides with a nice raised bead between pieces. If the piece will not be framed, an edge bead of solder is placed around the entire piece. The piece is then cleaned to remove any flux and dried. If desired, a patina is then applied to the solder lines, cleaned and dried. As the final step to protect the solder from oxidation and to bring the piece to life, a wax is hand applied to the entire piece and then hand buffed.

The resulting piece is a wonderful glass creation.
