Photos don't do it justice. Thank you so much Katie!!! I know my mom is going to love it. Katie was super helpful in letting me buy a piece that I saw at the Rhode Island Flea - I was too late and she was able to buy it at the actual flea market.

About

Inspiration of Glass Sails

I've possessed an immeasurable amount of excitement for glass blowing since the first moment I witnessed a live artist. Finally, I feel that my aspirations to become a glass artist myself are coming to reality. There exists a respected place in my heart for artwork, and the art of glassblowing stands above other art forms. The process of shaping molten glass in a flame is mesmerizing. I find myself enchanted by the properties of glass and the colorful reactions that come from detailed techniques. I believe there is value in working with one's hands and I consider it a privilege to incorporate this creative trade into my lifestyle. Although I have pursued a multitude of other art forms in the past, no art has brought me feelings comparable to those when I blow glass. I am naturally drawn to the wondrous world of borosilicate art.

After apprenticing under talented glass artists, I've recently built an at-home studio of my own where I flamework the pieces seen here on Etsy. Glass Sails is my personal shop, and the beginning of a happy chapter of life.

I sincerely hope you enjoy!
