  • Each batch of soap yields 9-10 bars of soap. The wet soap must sit in the molds for 24-48 hours before it is cut.
  • Our little neighborhood lake that inspired the name of our soap shop.
Video summary: The saponification process is when you add active lye water to oils and emulsify them together. It is necessary to make soap!

Sizing details

Each bar of soap is weighed individually as each bar of soap is unique. All weights are approximate. The weight listed on the label is listed under the actual weight of each bar of soap as soap loses water weight as it cures.

Care instructions

Handmade soap does not have preservatives and chemicals that help to harden the soap. Handmade Soap should never be left in a puddle of water and should be placed on a soap tray to allow it to dry between uses.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Gift boxes are available upon request.

What is the white stuff on top of soap???

If your bar of soap has a white discoloration on the top, that is called soda ash and is part of the natural curing process of soap making. Soda ash occurs when the lye and distilled water in the soap reacts to the air. It is completely normal and not harmful in anyway.
