Welcome to Gliterz By Sal

I started out on Etsy making my own hand crafted jewelry. While doing so, I purchased some vintage jewelry for re-purposing into my own designs. I quickly fell in love with the romance and history of vintage jewelry and gradually switched from making my own new pieces to buying and selling vintage. I've never looked back and never regretted that move.

I try to keep a nice variety of items to pique your interest and am always on the look out for the weird, wacky and unusual, as well as the unique and antique designer pieces. I thoroughly inspect and gently clean all pieces when they come into my hands.

I am out treasure hunting several days of the week (and "in season", every day) so if there is something in particular that you are searching for, please feel free to convo me and I will do my best to locate that item for you.

Please note that my items are vintage and come from various sources. I rarely know the full history of an item and it may originally have come from a pet and/ or smoke friendly environment. I clean all items as appropriate when I get them but if you have a particularly severe allergy, please inquire prior to purchase.

Payment due within three business days of purchase. I accept Etsy Direct Checkout and Paypal payment.
Shipping is by USPS First Class Mail or as noted in the shipping details of the item.

Due to the high cost of shipping International, I must charge for that. International Buyers – Please Note:

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Should the buyer not pay the fees and the item is then returned to me, only the cost of the item, minus my restocking fees, will be refunded.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.

I ship through PayPal so a tracking number will always be provided. If additional insurance is required, please let me know prior to payment.
Refunds and Exchanges
All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. Return process must be started within 7 business days of receipt of item beginning with a convo to me advising of the return and item must be return shipped within 14 business days of start of return process.

For International customers - it is your responsibility to pick up your package from your postal customs clerk and pay any fees levied. Should you refuse to pick up your package and pay those fees, the item will be returned to me, which may take several weeks or more. No refund will be issued until the item is returned to me. Any refund then issued will simply be the cost of the item itself minus restocking fees.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please be aware, buyers need to have a secure delivery point. USPS will not honor insurance when an item is stolen/missing after delivery. Once USPS makes the final delivery scan, the seller is not responsible for items missing after delivery has been completed.

For International customers, please note that there is quite often an extended layover of items in your country's customs office. This can be anywhere from a week to a month. Please be patient with delivery. Once an item leaves the United States, I am unable to provide any kind of tracking information. Should an item become delayed in the receiving country's customs office, it will be up to the buyer to initiate the tracking of the item....I will be unable to do anything at that point.
