Announcement    I have recently moved my business to Madison, Wisconsin. I'm still getting my studio set up so I can get back to making jewelry. I'm finding my overhead expenses higher thanks to higher cost of living here than in Kentucky, and my prices will need to go up. However I offer free shipping with a total purchase of $35 or more. More inventory coming as soon as I can get it done.

About

Once upon a time in a forest far away. . .

I grew up in the northeast corner of Oklahoma, part of the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. It was there I developed a deep appreciation of the wooded rolling hills behind my parents’ farm. I spent hours exploring boulders with their interesting holes and basins covered in moss and ferns. On a lucky day I would find tiny woodland violets blooming in cool shady spots. My woodland jewelry collection has a way of serving as a tangible reminder of nature even when one is unable to physically be there.

And when it comes to flowers, I come from a long line of flower admirers. My parents referred to flowers and other plants by their names and instilled in me a curiosity to learn the names of both wild and garden flowers. Now one of my daughters is an avid gardener, too.

I started making jewelry in the late 90's, focusing on designing with gemstones and sterling silver. Then in July of 2016 I watched a video tutorial by Becky Nunn on embedding organics in resin. My focus took a 180 turn and I've not looked back since. I find delight in creating Glori Bee Jewelry.

Duane and I recently moved to a beautiful setting in Madison, Wisconsin.
