Announcement
These rustic sculptural pieces would make the perfect decor in both modern and traditional homes. All are great gift ideas for yourself or the ones you care for.
Also, visit my shop at DaisyTableware.etsy.com for my pressed floral motif pottery and at ClayAndRope.etsy.com for my all-natural clay and rope, unisex jewelry.
Every item was made like a little sculpture with hand marks, lines, and details synonymous with personality traits. No two pieces are the same and are not to be repeated. Each one was the subject of the creative process which gave me a lot of pleasure and satisfaction. I wish this ceramic, handmade item would give you similar sensations.

I love working with clay. There are many magical moments in the process. Starting with the design and then forming and being able to see my drawing become a three-dimensional item. Simple observing the change in color while the piece dries invariably awes me. The first "biscuit" firing changes the properties of clay, it becomes hard enough to be easily handled for glazing, which is just another surprise. My glazing process requires lots of imagining as I don't see the final colors of raw glazes, matching the shades together is a matter of long practice. Opening the kiln after the high firing, when all the raw glazes finally have revealed their colors, always excites me. Sometimes this moment is a "wow!" moment, but disappointments happen, too.
The collection of listings you will find here consists of the selected, high-quality ceramic pieces all handcrafted in my studio.
MY PROCESS
I make most of the pieces using clay slabs that were previously textured. Then, I hand-assemble, fire, glaze and fire them again. Often, to achieve the desired effect, the firing process needs to be repeated several times.
Some items I turn on potter's wheel, often altering them for the desired effect.
MY AESTHETICS
The aesthetics of my pieces reflect directly my love for the color, strong forms, texture, and the natural movement of shapes. My free spirit restricts me from sticking to one type of item for longer. I like change, I constantly look for new ways of expression. While it might be overwhelming a little, it gives you a really wide spectrum of choices.
My ceramics would go well with the farmhouse style and a country vibe. However, some would look great in the modern interiors enhancing the straight lines and smooth surfaces by contrast.
SHIPPING WORLDWIDE
I take great care to ship my works to wrap them up sufficiently for the long journey using mostly ecological materials, often recycled.
I use a box in a box packing technique for larger items, which is the best for shipping pottery.
As standard, I ship registered parcels with a tracking number with Poczta Polska. All shipping prices include packing materials, packing time, and the postal charge. For the delivery times, please look in the shipping section of my shop.
CUSTOM ORDERS
I hope you have found the ready-to-ship piece you were looking for!
If not, place a custom order and I will work with you to fit your needs.
Thank you!

Sculpting in clay is one of my favorite actions so many of my pieces have been hand sculpted.

A small openwork sculpture in progress. Sometimes I work in rubber gloves to protect my skin against breaking.

I like collecting twigs from different kinds of trees in order to turn them into ceramic spoon handles.
With passion, I create decorative pattern pottery for every day use. From my loving hands into yours!
Some time ago, my children asked me what would be my favorite activity with my grandchildren. Without hesitation, my answer was "playing in the mud, of course!". I worked as an interior designer back then and was not even imagining changing my job. Over time, we moved into the rural area where I have resigned from my designer's carrier to begin a clay chapter of my life. My children grew up and have a life of their own now. And here I am with passion for developing the ceramic craft and still waiting for the grandchildren to come along and mud play with me. I would also like to credit my son Andrew for being a great supporter of mine in non-making aspects of my potter's life, thus being a valuable team member.
