Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

To clean our wood products, use a mild all purpose cleaner and simply spray/wipe dry. Compressed air cans are also great for blowing out debris/dust that can settle into knots.

Avoid using any harsh chemicals or worse, orange oil and "furniture restore" products. Also be sure to keep hot items directly off the wood surface and clean up any spills shortly after they occur.

Lastly don't fret! Accident happen and we can't always keep everything looking new forever. Maybe you spilled paint or nail polish remover. Or the dog chewed the edge of the table (happens more than you think). The benefit of solid wood is that it can be easily refinished or repaired. Look for a local refinisher or reach out to us and we'll help you out :)

Can you explain how each finish looks in person?

Finishes on solid wood can vary slightly depending on grain pattern. Factors such as lighting and even viewing photos on phones and computer screens can alter how a finish looks.

Overall though here's a quick guide for our finishes:

Natural (Second most popular) - Light white/tan in appearance. Can have very subtle hues of pink or yellow.

Provincial (Most popular choice) - Medium brown in appearance. Can take a slightly warmer tone with subtle reds/oranges or be a bit more muted with a slightly colder, darker brown tone.

Ebony (Third) - Black in appearance. Sometimes can take more dark, dark brown.

Slate (Fourth) - Light grey, can have subtle hues of blue or green.

I have a specific space that requires a specific size, is that possible to accommodate?

We can customize any of our products to fit your needs. We fabricate all of our metal and wood here in house so feel free to reach out with your custom dimensions and we can get you a quote.

One issue we may run into however is shipping. We ship with Fed Ex and USPS, both have limits on package size and weight before an item has to ship freight. Unless you have a truck, that 8 foot long, 300lb coffee table might be hard to get to you :) Nevertheless we'll try our best to work around those issues and can get you freight quotes if needed.
