Hi there, and welcome to Gold + Mean!

I'm Molly Alice Hoy, an LA-based indie artist and designer. Here you'll find an ever-expanding collection of pins, patches, and jewelry featuring my original artwork.

Since I was a child, I've been fascinated by science, nature, and the macabre. My work often features images of plants, animals, and other organic forms combined with geometric elements, juxtaposing the ephemeral and the eternal. I also take a lot of cues from mythology, folk religion, and witchcraft to give my pieces an otherworldly quality.

Frequently asked questions
When will my order arrive?

I ship out orders the next business day via USPS First Class Package Services. Domestic packages typically arrive within 2-3 days, whereas international packages can take 1-2 weeks or longer.

I do not currently offer overnight or expedited shipping.

PRE-ORDER items vary in terms of shipping times. Please refer to the pre-order FAQ below!

What if my order arrives damaged or gets lost in the mail?

If your order arrives damaged, please send me photo documentation, and I'll be happy to either replace it or offer a refund.

I handle lost or stolen packages on a case-by-case basis. If you suspect your package has been lost or stolen, please get in touch with me directly.

I accidentally entered the wrong shipping address! Now what?

I understand that certain payment methods like Apple Pay often autofill addresses -- PLEASE double check to make sure that your address is correct before placing your order!

If you find that you've entered the wrong address, please contact me within 12 hours of placing your order. Chances are good that I won't have shipped your order yet and I can easily correct your address before it goes out. However, I don't offer refunds if your package has already shipped.

If your package can't be delivered and is returned to sender (i.e., me) I will happily send it to another address you provide me, but I won't cover the cost of shipping it a second time.

Do you offer custom or personalized orders?

Unfortunately, I don't currently do custom orders. Products like pins, patches, and charms require production assistance, which means placing bulk orders with a manufacturer. Because of this, it's just not practical to do a one-off design for these kinds of items.

I have a retail store and want to carry your products! Do you do wholesale?

I don't currently do wholesale for my products, but do get in touch if you're interested in collaborating on a custom product or design for your store!

When can I expect my PRE-ORDER item to arrive?

PRE-ORDER means you agree to purchase a product about to go into production or currently in the process of being made.

The process of fulfilling these orders can take anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks. Pre-order listings will have an estimated delivery time in the description, but there is always a chance that this timeline could be delayed due to things beyond my control like holiday breaks or receiving a product that doesn't meet my quality standards and having to get them remade. I appreciate your patience in the event of any such delays -- I'm just as eager to fulfill your order as you are to receive it!
