All items are shipped insured. Smaller items, such as single soap dishes are shipped using USPS Priority Mail. Larger items or multiples are shipped FedEx Ground.
I currently only ship within the United States (and Canada for smaller items) because packing and shipping costs elsewhere for ceramics tend to be prohibitive. Please convo me if you live outside the U.S. and are interested in purchasing my work. I am more than happy to send you a shipping estimate. (Note: The shipping cost for a cup to the U.K. and Europe shipped and insured through USPS Priority Mail International costs a minimum of $30 and takes approximately 6-10 days from shipment date.)
Shipping costs primarily cover only the cost of shipping which includes insurance and delivery confirmation, but may also include costs associated with packaging (ceramics requires styrofoam peanuts, sturdy cardboard boxes and bubblewrap for safe travel). I try to use recycled packing material whenever possible, to keep costs and environmental impact down.
You are welcome to convo me if you have a question about shipping costs or delivery times.
Additional policies and FAQs
I take commissions, as long as they are within my capability and palette. If you see something in my shop and would like a different color in my palette, or have seen something not currently available that I've sold before, I am more than happy to consider it. Convo me or drop me an email at pottery at goldbergpottery.com.
My work is intended for your use and enjoyment. My work can go in the microwave and dishwasher, although I recommend gentle dish detergent. “Pre-warming” pieces by filling with warm/hot tap water prior to pouring hot water for coffee or tea is recommended. Do not place my pottery in an already hot oven; it is best to place my pottery in a cool oven and then turn the oven on.
