What a cute cute hat!! This artist is so easy and fun to work with! She let me choose my own colors and even gave me options from the colors she had on hand. She's wonderful. Thank you!!

About

Goldberry Artisans: a family legacy

Knitting is something that I have always loved. I started out making little garter stitch bags for my family and friends and continue to learn new techniques and challenge myself. I carry projects with me everywhere so that I can retreat into the glorious world of fiber arts even in the midst of a crowd. To me, knitting is more than just something to keep my hands busy; it is a way to solve problems, create works of art, turn otherwise wasted moments into something beautiful, and loose myself in the gentle rhythm of the stitches.
I first started Goldberry Artisans as a way to share my handmade items with the world. The name comes from a place in Scotland called Goldberry Hill where my ancestors fought to defend their land from invaders, protecting their heritage. I chose to use this name because it is part of my family legacy, just as entrepreneurship and crafting are. I hope to continue these family traditions, and this shop is my way of inviting you to keep the spirit of enterprise, innovation, and creativity alive and well.

I love everything about the knitting process, from choosing the yarn and pattern to adding the finishing touches to create a one-of-a-kind item. Some of my other favorite things include good books, Earl Grey tea, blueberry muffins, and cardigans.
