Hi! My name is Mirjam. I hand dye fibres for spinning and felting and make hand felted accessories and jewellery. I’ll be adding new items regularly. I hope you’ll enjoy looking around my shop!
For an explanation of the shipping costs for multiple items, please see the FAQ section on the bottom of this page. If you order multiple items, shipping will often be less expensive than the amount stated in your shopping cart, so please read the FAQ on this subject or drop me a line if things are unclear.
SHIPPING DISRUPTIONS DUE TO THE WAR IN THE UKRAINE, AND THE CORONA CRISIS: at the moment I cannot post to the following countries: Afghanistan, Brunei, Bhutan, Ecuador, Laos, Libya, Nauru, Syria, Timor Leste, Tajikistan, Yemen. According to the Dutch postal services, these countries do not accept import from other countries. This may change at any time, so if you’d like to order something, please contact me before putting in your order. Also, because of the war in Ukraine, I can't send mail to Russia and Belarus, and it is unclear if mail can be send securely to Ukraine.
Some other countries still experience delivery delays because of corona, so please keep this in mind when you order. I can only give you a very rough estimated delivery date and cannot be held responsible for any delays.
A note on returns: within the EU, buyers have the right to return any purchase within 14 days of receiving their order, with the provision that the item is returned in the original state. However, the shipping cost both ways is non-refundable, no matter the country you are in. So make sure you check out all the info and photos before ordering, to avoid disappointment! You’re also very welcome to ask any questions if you’re not sure about your order.
If you are not in the EU, I cannot accept returns or exchanges, due to the custom fees they may incur upon their return.
If, through my fault, there is something wrong with your order, then of course you can return it, no matter where you are. In that case please contact me before returning your order.
Please be aware when you order that you are responsible for paying any customs fees/duties etc. These costs vary per country, and depending on the value of your order, and the laws in your country, there might not be any custom fees.
If you have a discount coupon for my shop, please be aware that you can only use it for the regular items in my shop, but not for custom orders (so if I make something on request or to your specifications).

Frequently asked questions
When I put more than one item in my cart, the shipping costs keep adding up. Is this correct?
Unfortunately the Etsy website doesn’t allow its sellers to set correct shipping costs for multiple items. But of course there’s a limit to how much shipping you’ll have to pay. When I’ve received an order, I’ll calculate what the actual shipping cost will be (which will include extra costs such as the fee Etsy charges over shipping) and refund any surplus.
What if I want to know the exact shipping cost before I place an order?
I completely understand. Just send me a convo with the items you’re interested in and I’ll check what the total shipping cost will be. I’m very happy to do so and you shouldn’t feel in the least obligated to order the items if the shipping costs aren’t to your liking.
I've seen fibre in a beautiful colourway in your shop, but now it's sold out. Can you dye something in the same colourway for me?
If you've seen the colourway on a wool/combed top base, then in many cases I can. I keep the dye recipes for many of the colourways of my combed top. If you've seen the colourway on a silk base or on yarn, then in many cases I won't be able to reproduce it, although you can always ask. Just send me a convo and we can discuss what you'd like and what's possible.
There are periods over the year when I'm too busy to take in custom orders, but feel free to ask.
Keep in mind that if you order a colourway on a different base than you saw it on before, the colours will often come out a little differently. Also, although the dye recipe will be the same, the result will never be an exact copy of the previous batch. It's all handwork after all :)
I have a coupon code for your shop. Can I use it for anything in your shop?
You can use it for all regular items already in my shop, except advent calendars. You cannot use it for custom orders, so if you’ve asked me to dye, felt, make or spin something especially for you. And if you buy four sheep breed samplers at once, you'll receive a €10/10% discount, but you cannot use a coupon code on top of the discount you already get in that case.
Every coupon code comes with its own terms, such as a minimum order amount and an expiration date, so check those if you’re planning an order.
I see in your shop policies that you don't accept returns. What if I don't like the item I bought?
If you live in the European Union by law you have the right to return an item within 14 days. The item must be unused and in its original state and packaging. However, the shipping cost both to you and back to me are both your responsibility and non-refundable. So you should be careful to check the listing text, photos and measurements very well to minimise the risk of having to return an item. And ask questions if you're not sure about something, I'm happy to help!
Custom orders are non-returnable.
